Very nice

Pros: Lovely location near canal. Well equipped. Comfy king size bed. Massive bath. Dog friendly. Excellent wifi. Efficient coffee machine.

Cons: Stools, breakfast bar. No bedside lamps.

Pros: Really lovely accommodation everything you need and more. Sharon Shaun and family very welcoming and friendly one of the nicest places we have stayed. Italian Aldo’s we highly recommend. Two great pubs within walking distance. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area. 5 stars thank you xx

Cosy and comfortable.

Pros: Comfortable and well equipped. Decorated to a high standard with everything we needed. Very convenient for countryside around Leeds and for visiting family. Hope to stay again.

Cons: Would have liked some bedside lights but minor problem really!

Tried to book again while we were there!

Pros: The quality of the fixtures, fittings and furniture was amazing. Sharon provided very clear instructions for us which was perfect for my Autistic husband.

Cons: We blocked the road with our car whilst waiting for the gate to open but we do have a big car.

Fantastic, beautiful accommodation

Pros: The accommodation is beautifully decorated and very well kitted out , We could not fault it , extremely comfortable and well loved by the owners. It is such lovely accommodation we stayed an extra night ! Accommodation is close to lovely walks and a few very nice pubs ,and was ideal for the dog. The host Sharon was really welcoming and informative . Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Pros: Instructions to get to the property clear and easy to follow. Appreciated that the host had turned the heating on for when we arrived as it was a cold day. Also appreciated the welcome pack of snacks they provided and the offer of laundry. Cosy and cute place to stay, lovely location next to fields and close to canal.

Cons: a little short on storage space as we had two large cases each for a 2 week stay.

Restful and ideal for cyclists and walkers

Pros: Quiet, restful, everything you need for a relaxing stay. Exceedingly well equipped Kitchen and 2 x bar stools, lounge with wifi and sky tv, very comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom with everything you might need. Outdoor space too.

Cons: There's nothing to dislike about Badger's Retreat from my point of view.
