Beautiful cosy apartment in Howarth

Pros: This is a beautiful cosy apartment with everything you need. The whole apartment is kept in beautiful condition and is warm and inviting. Will definitely be looking forward to staying again. The hosts are very friendly and great with communication details on access to the property.

Cons: It’s not the property but parking is a little way down the road. So park in the parking bays near the bus stop and take your luggage in, it’s much easier than walking it up from the car park.

Pros: Everything! Very comfy bed! Lots of facilities and loved the fire very cosy

Cons: Nothing - but the tv did feel just a bit slightly too high for maximum comfort

Pros: It was in easy walking distance of the town centre

Cons: It was sat just off a main road and you could hear the traffic all night

Cosy ground floor warm modern apartment near centre of Howarth

Pros: Beautiful modern clean apartment. Little secure front yard to supervise doggy in. Lovely cosy electric log effect burner. Lovely and warm.Excellent value for money

Cons: Had to park on a street nearby as next to a very busy road where you could park but didn't feel safe leaving the car there. Front gate to house on a blind bend so had to be super careful when coming and going by foot. Quite a walk from the centre of Howarth (In the rain! )Would probably be quite enjoyable in better weather.. But apart from this would still totally recommend this super value private ground floor apartment and would definently stay here again for the night 👌 .

Clean, modern apartment in a great location

Pros: The apartment was very clean and modern, and in a brilliant location that was easy to find and access. It was around a 10 minute walk to the Main Street, which was very convenient. We brought our dog and it was a lovely touch to have a blanket box provided for them. The cloakroom was particularly handy, and the bed was very comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep.

Cons: The sofa appeared to be broken and was not very comfortable. Messages were not responded to in a timely way. The information stated that Spotify was available through Alexa, however this did not work and we did not receive a response when we raised this. The internet also appeared to have changed, which meant some features did not work as expected.

Lovely stay

Pros: Very cosy wee apartment. Had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay!

Cons: Not a criticism as we are both very tall but the ceilings are very low. Great for short people 😂

Pros: Perfectly situated, having the outside courtyard was so handy with a dog. Home from home, beautifully decorated and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We stayed in minus temperatures and was lucky enough to have snow and the extra blankets were perfect and the radiators kept the place nice and warm.

Cons: The water system is loud so if someone is on the sofa couch and a light sleeper they will unfortunately be disturbed.

Lovely apartment and with a few tweaks could be even better!

Pros: Located 10 min walk away from Main Street. Steep walk up hill which was fine for us and added to the rural charm. Apartment is nicely furnished and decorated and was clean and comfortable.

Cons: Overly complicated directions to property. Basically, it’s first gate on right hand side as you turn into Ebor Lane. We were told it’s adjacent to Masonic Hall when in fact it’s opposite. This resulted in us traipsing up and down in the rain trying to find the apartment. No answer when we tried calling mobile. Eventually did respond when we’d worked it out for ourselves. Outside light and house name would be helpful. Key safe was fiddly too but that might just be me! Property was very cold on arrival but soon heated up. As mentioned in previous reviews, macerator loo is very noisy and can get annoying. Welcome instructions are plentiful but not very accurate causing further frustration. Basic tea and coffee with no added extras to make you feel welcome.
