Lovely Christmas weekend break

Pros: We stayed just before Christmas as we like to do a family trip somewhere we have never been before. Location was great, short walk into Hebden Bridge and a great pop up bakery just down the road! It was dog friendly. Huge amount of space in flat, 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin. TV was massive to watch Christmas films. Tea, coffee and sugar in the cupboard plus a Coffee machine to use. Lovely ‘bing bong’ when someone opens the front door, reminded me of an old shop. Easy to get in using key safe, parking just at the side for free. Owner Sam was quick to answer queries and provide suggestions. Would have been nice to have a little Christmas tree up to add to the festive feel.

Cons: Heating was tricky at times, difficult to heat the big lounge space but blankets provided. There is a big gap under the front door which causes a draught in hallway/stairs area. Had to give fridge a clean on arrival.

Pros: The whole place just takes your breath when you see it at the top of the stairs. Really cannot praise it highly enough. TV is huge and Smart, loads of comfortable sofas, big table could easily seat 8.

Cons: No dishwasher tablets, not something we thought to take. No complimentary items, especially milk is always nice. No mirror above sink for shaving.
