The little cottage

Beautiful little cottage to relax and be based at to explore the area.

Pros: Comfortable, modern, well-equipped and a perfect spot to visit family in the area while having a cosy bolt-hole to return to. Some beautiful country views.

Pros: Lovely house, really cosy feel to it. One of the best showers I've ever used, water pressure is fantastic.. Nice little patio area at the back worth a wonderful view from the bench, perfect to sit out with a coffee from the VERY posh coffee machine in the kitchen :) Parking straight outside the front door, unfortunately a little awkward on our stay due to roadworks but that's obviously a short term issue. Lovely little pub 2 mins walk which does a fab Sunday dinner too!

Cons: Literally the only gripe is that the TV didn't receive any channels, got 2mins of pixellation then an error message. Not a massive issue as it's a smart TV so has Netflix and all the catch up apps to watch live through those. The stairs up to the bedroom are open sided plus the individual steps aren't quite the same height at the bottom so I did stumble slightly on the way down, a handrail would be a useful addition.

Pros: The living room was very comfortable. The views from the windows was beautiful. The location really suited us.

Cons: I'm afraid you can't do much about the stairs due to the nature of the house, but I was worried about slipping on them with no bannister. Bins in the bathroom and living room would be great and more towels, although we did find some.

The views were fabulous, the house super-clean and comfortable. Perfect!

Pros: Location was perfect for visiting friends who live nearby. Parking right outside. Immaculately clean. Very comfortable. Fabulous views.

A homey and quiet stay

Pros: A spotlessly clean and cosy delight! This little place is gorgeous. A sweet cottage over 3 floors, with a lovely little kitchen on the ground floor, the second floor is the lounge and dining area with a large smart TV, and upstairs is the bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. A very homey and quiet stay. The owner is responsive, kind and helpful. We loved it, and highly recommend.

Nice place for a get away to this area.

Pros: The location was great for us in a quiet village but having the pub nearby was very useful.

Cons: The stairs are very steep, but do-able for us. I could see them being problematic for others.
