Next time I’m staying longer!

Pros: Everything! We booked one of the hotels suites and it was absolutely perfect! The tub is huge which was an awesome treat to take a “swim” in a huge bath! Room was exquisite, the bed were so comfortable and the room warm and comfortable! Staff are fantastic! Helpful and absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable! Food (tasting menu) was fabulous!!

A lovely break in a relaxing atmosphere with lots of interesting places to visit close by.

Pros: Lovely breakfast choice with excellent gluten free full English. Dinner was superb - beautiful Bream- and excellent service in the restaurant. The hotel staff were welcoming and attentive and we enjoyed relaxing in the lounge in front of an open fire. The bed was super comfy and we appreciated the melt-in-the mouth shortbread biscuits and fresh fruit in the room. This is a hotel where guests are made to feel special.

Beautiful small country house hotel

Pros: On the edge of the beautiful Dales village of Austwick the Traddock has a great country house feel and we particularly enjoyed the roaring log fire . Very comfortable bed and a good cooked breakfast.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. Being picky some croissants/pastries at breakfast would be nice . The brasserie food is “fancy” more than hearty but that’s a matter of taste and it was good.

Pros: What a beautiful place, the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The room was so luxurious, with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast was gorgeous, we could taste the quality of the food. Overall what an amazing place xx

Smashing little hotel

Pros: Beautiful setting, lovely hotel, Nice & peaceful, good breakfast, great break away 😊 Nice & clean even though dogs are allowed.

Cons: Rather a rude receptionist on arrival, a little abrupt with us as regards checking in & restaurant booking for that evening! All other staff were lovely 😍

Pros: Everything was exceptional. The ambience it was warm and cosy. The staff were very professional and very helpful

Lovely overnight break in a great location.

Pros: Comfortable, lovely gardens, good food Dog friendly

Cons: Shame we couldn’t eat breakfast or dinner outside in such perfect weather. Nice to be able to eat in the bar area but the 2 tables are very close together which can be difficult with nervous or excitable dogs and could have been easily overcome by having our meals outside. We had a lovely big room but really didn’t need a bath in it. The shower was really good and a bigger more modern television would have been appreciated a lot more than a bath in the room! Some of the decor in the main areas looking a bit tired.

We were returning for our 4 th visit. Will definitely be back

Pros: Lovely place with very comfortable rooms and common parts and wonderful food and staff

Great superior accomodation on a cycle tour - we will be back

Pros: Breakfast was excellent; they found a place to securely lock our bikes overnight (even though there are some Sheffield cycle stands outside); the evening meal was exceptional, wine choice great and beer very drinkable :-)
