The Cobbles

For the price we paid it was very good value. We were comfortable.

Pros: The rather quirky decor. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was lovely.

Cons: The absolute mess outside the house, which has obviously been there for a very long time and could have been improved by a bit of tidying up. We had children with us and there was no outside space, although there could have been a yard with some hard work to clear some of the area. Although the property was advertised as having two double beds, it would have been impossible for a couple to use the room with one three quarter bed plus a pull-out bed which locked into it, but it left zero room to move. The sofa bed in the lounge was, however, very comfortable, but it meant using the room as a bedroom, leaving just one of the downstairs rooms as a living/dining area, which was adequate for our group of 7.

The Cobbles is a wonderful place to stay for a short break. PLENTY of room, excellent facilities etc

Pros: I had a tiny. It of difficulty accessing the lockbox at the start but that’s only because I was using the wrong code. I’d called the property owner who then informed me of the correct code

Cons: Everything was basically perfect

Pros: We all commented on how comfortable the beds were. The theme is exceptional. Very spacious property. Fabulous features throughout.

Cons: Only trivial things like; lack of bulbs in the lamps, could do with a door knob in the kitchen, bin bags, tea towels and disinfectant (fortunately I had taken these). The place could do with dusting and maybe the blind strings fixing.

Pros: Easy to access and parking good. Lovely and warm which was welcome as very cold. Loved the decor, everything you need on site. Good quality bedding and towels and comfortable bed in main bedroom. All in all would happily recommend to anyone visiting this area. Thank you for a very comfortable stay.

Pros: Well maintained comfortable house. Easy access to the Festival in the main part of Colne.

Pros: This place we huge and such good value. I needed to be in Colne for a wedding... a bit big for just me, but the most affordable option at the time. Would be amazing foe a family. I liked the decor and the place was super clean with lovely attention to detail.

Cons: Not much in the kitchen, but not a biggie. Make sure you take salt, pepper and all the things as the kitchen is very bare. The bed was super uncomfortable but I used an extra duvet to pad it out!

Pros: A very comfortable clean home. The owner was very helpful letting us in. It had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The decor throughout was beautiful!!

Pros: Spacious. Workable kitchen. Bedrooms large and comfy. Shower and bath great.

Cons: Curtains need fixing so they are easier to open and close

Pros: The property was loverly, fantastic value for money. My only issue with it was during the first night there was a water leak in the master bedroom ceiling. I woke up my laptop and part of the bed being covered in drips of water. Luckily my laptop was fine and they came by with a roofer as soon as I let them know what had happened.
