It was a peaceful and relaxing cottage after a busy day.

Pros: It was a beautiful location and such a pleasure to go back to after a busy day. The spot where the cottage is(the garden) is secluded and peaceful. The views are lovely.

Amazing, relaxing - the perfect recharge!

Pros: The location is peaceful and provides easy access to all the local amenities. The cottage is beautiful and the attention to detail of the host creates a property that is easy to enjoy and relax in the wonderful countryside...

Cons: You have to drive if you need anything like essential supplies

A peaceful beautiful stay

Pros: Beautiful property view stunning views of the north York moors. We were also able to enjoy the clearest skies for a planetary parade in the hot tub! Mary and John were lovely hosts. Bed was comfy and log fire is a really nice touch, warmed us right up when the temperature dropped.

Cons: My only suggestion would be a couple of extra blankets for those colder nights, but if I’d have asked Mary and John I bet they’d have rustled some up for us - I just chose not to bother them since it was getting late. Otherwise a perfect stay!

Lovely cottage

Pros: Beautiful little cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Views from the hot tub were amazing. Dogs are welcome and there are some pleasant walks nearby including into a nearby village where Sunday lunch was amazing and dogs were also welcome. Very friendly owner who was happy to help us throughout our stay

Cons: The hot tub was lovely and hot and clean on arrival but wasn't checked again during our stay and it really was in need of water treatment.
