Pros: Very cosy & quiet with log fire burning even with the kids thar, got everything you could need for a quiet getaway, very comfy beds, good location for the Emmerdale tour witch is why we were thar, 10 minutes drive to the pick up point

Our stay was excellent,we did Emmerdale tour. We will definitely stay longer on our next visit.👍

Pros: The welcome pack was 👍 The location was perfect for us. Every room was spotless and had everything you needed The property was very spacious and exceeded or expectations.

Cons: The property was absolutely faultless. There wasn’t anything to dislike.

Amazing cottage home from home

Pros: We arrived late but was easy to find, welcomed with bread, wine, jam, milk butter beans etc! The beds were so comfortable and warm! The cottage was so clean even had washing tablets for the washing machine! So we used one to wash the towels and robes we used whilst there so that the owner doesn't have to. Was like a home from home! We loved it that much we are looking to go back in the summer ❤️

Visiting family and a little holiday, stayed 3 nights. Whitby is doable for a day trip lovely scenery

Pros: We have stayed before, lovely quiet quirky cottage, clean and comfortable with a rural outlook, but supermarket not far about 10 to 15 mins by car. Car parking space right outside the front door. Dog friendly, thoughtful touches like toiletries, welcome bread butter jam and milk.

Superb location and accommodation.

Pros: Very peaceful location. The cottage was spotless, very well equipped, and had lots of thoughtful touches. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.

Gorgeous stay at Hillside

Pros: The cottage was gorgeous. Location was perfect. Cottage had everything you need and the beds were exceptionally comfortable too

Exceptional property surrounded by beautoful countryside and lovely hosts. Will definitely come back

Pros: The property is very spacious, it is more or less two cottages in one. I stayed for a week with family so we could eat and watch TV together in the common areas, which was perfect but the bedrooms are at either end of the cottage up separate staircases! Each room has it's own bathroom too, so it doesn't feel like you are on top of one another and if one is a night owl you didn't need to worry about disturbing the other. Super comfy beds and beautifully furnished. There are even two wood burners! It wasn't that cold when we stayed but I still lit one for the novelty and the dog loved it!

Cons: Not much to dislike, the only thing I would say is the kitchen is laid out in two separate areas so it took some getting used to but really wasn't an issue. We got very good at making sure when one of us was cooking the other was prepping in the other room.

Pros: The cottage was quaint with modern touches and finished to a very high standard. The location is perfect if you want some peace and quiet. The views are stunning. It's perfect for the Emmerdale tour or Harewood House.

Cons: No dishwasher and small kitchen.

The nicest cottage I have ever stayed in.

Pros: Beautiful cottage, countryside location, lovely walks.

Cons: Outside space to be more dog friendly, fenced area.
