The Victorian Suite

Pros: The property was as described. It was very spacious and nicely decorated and furnished. It was easy to find and access. Everywhere was very clean. It was warm and there was lots of hot water.The kitchen was well stocked with lots of pots, pans etc and good quality appliances The location was lovely and very quiet.

Cons: Little niggles were that the door closers made them very hard to open and the lounge through to the bedroom hall slammed noisily. One of the radiators in the lounge didn't work although the room was warm enough. The bathroom lights were very bright which wasn't relaxing to take a bath and the extractor couldn't be switched off which again spoilt the effect of a relaxing bath. On the second evening there was no Internet which also meant no t.v. I messaged the manager but got no reply and so there was no t.v. or Internet for the rest of the stay. Overall however it was an enjoyable stay and good value for money.

Relaxing country retreat

Pros: Combines style and tradition in a beautiful old Manor House. Well equipped kitchen. Huge living area.

Pros: Beautiful old house recently renovated to a high standard. Bed was really comfy and there was everything you need to stay for a short or long break.

Cons: It was a little confusing to find the room on arrival. The main entrance takes you to a building with apartments but this is the stables - it took us a while to discover the main house- signage on the entrance would easily fix this. Everything else was perfect!
