Pros: Comfortable and spacious. Downstairs cloakroom was a bonus for me with limited mobility.

Cons: Was difficult to heat as it is very open. Parking is an issue, not always space. Neighbour told us it was public parking

Lovely cottage

Pros: Cottage really comfortable clean and every thing we need for a lovely break away with the grandchildren. Central for activities forbidden corner is a must, Himalayan sculpture Park lovely and Thorp perro arboretum all worth a visit. Hosts were very accommodating would definitely recommend.

Cons: TV was not great but who wants to watch TV when on Holiday.

Brilliant

Pros: Our winter stay in the cottage was warm, cosy and very comfortable. Tastefully furnished with all modern requirements. Owns very prompt to help when any request was sent. We would highly recommend this property.

Cons: Fire stick did not work, no remote for dvd. It would be useful to instruction and lighting the fire and what types of wood to burn and where to purchase it.

A perfect stay in a gorgeous location

Pros: Really lovely place to stay in a beautiful Dales village. 2 large double bedrooms and 1 smaller single bedroom. 2 bathrooms (one on the ground floor at the rear of the kitchen). Large lounge and brilliantly furnished kitchen. There is a small courtyard at the rear of the cottage. Plenty of hot water. No problem with parking. We ate at the Richard 3rd pub and also at the Black Bull. Both were excellent. We also tried the Fish & Chip shop which was very good (although not open all that often). Finally - the horses. Wow. So beautiful. Every morning they go to the Moor to work (about a 10 minute walk). Their work riders were all so friendly. A joy to behold.

Horse racing lovers dream.

Pros: Location was excellent for the lovely pubs. Comfortable and clean with plenty of amenities. Great it had its own parking space. View out the front of the property was very nice.
