Rose Cottage

Can’t wait to go back and have a longer stay

Pros: It was really well decorated and very homely which made it feel like home it was well equipped in the kitchen and there was great outside space as well. The bedroom and bathroom were really spacious and it was lovely to have a second loo.

Cons: The only thing in the bedroom was a lack of a chest of drawers which would have been handy and one of the lamps had an intermittent loose connection

we had lovely relaxing stay in Rose cottage loved it

Pros: location perfect great value for money and lovely owner who was easy to contact at anytime

Cons: would have appreciated milk in fridge nd perhaps small loaf of bread instead of lemon drizzle cake

Holiday experience

Pros: I liked the fact that it was near to the moors so you could walk to it. Shops not to far away. Cottage very comfortable.

Cons: Parking was a bit awkward as I have a big car. Had to shunt a few times to get it in or out. Not easy to get a spot out front.

I would definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family and would love to stay there again!

Pros: Such a pretty quaint country cottage with beautiful views from every window!

Cons: The cooker could do with replacing!

Home from home

Pros: The location and the cleanliness and the decor was all in keeping. The atmosphere was so relaxed and the birds kept us entertained by going to and fro their nest, feeding their young. Charming and lovely. Home from home.

Cons: The parking was a little touch and go. The space which is reserved for the cottage is there but it won't fit an estate car. Worth noting if you've got a larger car. We parked on the roadside and everything was OK.

Pros: The location. The comfort. The cleanliness. Yeah I saw a spider. But it's the countryside for goodness sake. Loved the solitude too. The cottage is old style but didn't lack any modern equipment . The landlord was easily contactable

Cons: The front door could do with someone taking a plane to it as it stuck a bit.

Excellent value for money

Pros: The cottage was in a great location with lovely views from the front. There was everything we needed for the few days we were there. We would go again.

Cons: Although th bathrooms were spotless, the bathroom upstairs had some tiles lifting, so mats had been laid over them. I assumed this was a temporary measure, but I found these a bit of a trip hazard, and they were beginning to look a little tired.

Pros: Liebevoll eingerichtetes, sauberes Haus mit 2 Bädern und kleinem Garten. Man kann von der Haustür aus loswandern. Pub fußläufig erreichbar.

Cons: Der eigentlich zum Haus gehörende Parkplatz ist sehr klein und war für unser Auto untauglich. Glücklicherweise war parken gegenüber des Hauses möglich.
