Perfect getaway for a winter weekend!

Great little cottage in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

Pros: The helpful communications and information. The cottage has everything you need and is in a great peaceful location with pubs, restaurants and shops nearby. The cottage is located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales with lots of hiking trails and beautiful scenery.

Cons: Nothing 😀

Pros: Friendly, helpful hosts and gorgeous quiet location. The hosts also let me use their lockable little shed to store my bike, which was great.

Cons: No idea, nothing not to like!

Great location for walking.

Pros: Cottage had everything you needed (except a smart tv) Great location Comfy bed Very clean

Cons: Parking down the street was a bit of a pain Cottage was cold, but there are electric heaters. There is no need for all of the emails and 'how to use' information.

great place for two on a walking holiday any time

Pros: thick stone walls kept it cool in the heat, but would also be warm in winter (nice log burner and central heating) very comprehensively equipped and detailed instructions nice thick towels, loads of books, games and DVDs for when the weather takes a downturn. very comfy bed, comfy sofas, attractive village with easy access to lots of visitor attractions.

Cons: too many technicolour photos parking tricky if you had a big car complicated threshold with narrow step up and down to negotiate, awkward with big feet

A very comfortable holiday cottage, well managed and supplied with most every kitchen kitchen and bath need. Most infor

Pros: Coziness, living room layout with a wood-burning stove and an adjoining kitchen. Very well equipped facilities (kitchen, bath) and accessories (washer, ironing board, kitchen dishes and washing needs). Quite comfortable mattresses and linens. The owner provided most detailed instructions for every aspect of cottage use and information on locale hiking opportunities.

Cons: Principal déficit was inability to operate the bathroom shower. Cottage is somewhat remote from Settle market town (1.25 miles), restaurants, train station, pubs and walks to and from the cottage at night are challenging.
