Tar Top

A great place for two in a lovely town in The Dales.

Pros: Tar Top is a perfect place for a two person stay. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. The downstairs space has been imaginatively used to create the impression of a separate kitchen. The living/dining area was spacious and the bedroom huge, with an excellent, firm bed and lovely views from the back window - who doesn't like sheep! It's less than 10 minutes to walk into Silsden and it's easy to park at the property.

Cons: Nothing - everything was good.

Pros: Location was great, just a 7 minute drive from family in Steeton, quiet, great views, accommodation was lovely, had everything you would need. Would use again in the future.

Cons: Nothing needs to be done, it was perfect.

Pros: Exceptionally clean, stylish and just right for a couple needing a warm and comfortable base in Silsden.

Pros: Spotless, compact accommodation well equipped kitchen. Easy parking outside door. Silsden has a range of restaurants, takeaways and pubs. Not too far to walk if you don't mind an uphill trip back!

Cons: Nothing to dislike, roadworks right outside driveway a shame but unavoidable.

Pros: Tar Top was excellent, it was clean, bright and well equipped with beautiful views front and back.

Top stay at Tar Top!

Pros: Well proportioned and nicely decorated property - great being able to park off road right outside the front door for unloading/loading. Fabulous views front and back. Huge bedroom with very comfortable bed and dual aspect to enjoy the views. Exceptionally clean, tidy and well equipped. The hosts were very approachable and ensured we had all we needed, even recommended a nice restaurant for our anniversary meal out. The town with a selection of shops and eateries is about a 12 min walk away down the hill. We stayed during a mini heatwave yet the house remained cool inside. Bus stops very close and train station about a mile away which has a free car park! Highly recommended.

Exceptional and amazing stay at Tar Top it

Pros: We liked everything about Tar Top, it was very comfortable and cosy for us. The kitchen was well equipped, the lounge came with an electric fire and heating was adjustable too, very relaxing for us. There was a table where we could eat and after cooking a meal in the kitchen. The bedroom and the ceilings were amazing, so much space, great wardrobe space for clothes and the nice ensuite with the shower too.
