Mistletoe Cottage

Pros: Jayne left milk, bread and eggs for us which was a lovely surprise. The stay will exceeded our expectiations!

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. It was all great. Nothing more to say!

Really lovely cottage, thank you!

Pros: A lovely cosy stay on our way up to Scotland. It’s easy to get into York from Alne and the village is so pretty. Mistletoe cottage has everything you need and is lovely and cosy but spacious. We had our two teenagers with us and our third decided not to come last minute, but there would have been plenty of space.

Cons: N/A

A very comfortable stay to celebrate Xmas part one in beautiful Yorkshire

Pros: Everything. Property was fantastic, lovely garden though it was winter so we did not sit outside! The village was beautiful and good location. We had an excellent stay. Really appreciated the Christmas tree and lights .

Cons: Pleasant views but not of countryside/Dales or Moors. This was not a “did not like” but an “even better if”. We would definitely return.

A lovely, peaceful retreat.

Pros: Lovely location, beautiful cottage which has obviously been well cared for. Very well equipped in terms of crockery etc as well as things like tea, coffee and sugar. The owners also left some bread, milk, eggs and butter which was a lovely touch. Fabulous pub round the corner, we enjoyed it so much that we went there for dinner on two of the three nights of our stay.

Cons: A very minor point that the water pressure in the shower was really low but it certainly didn’t affect the quality of our visit.

Wendy's 60th

Pros: One of the best cottages I have stayed in, had everything you needed and was a super layout

Cons: The only thing is the tap sometimes got very hot but that is literally it a super cottage

Stunning cottage, provided everything we could have asked for and in a gorgeous location.

Pros: Mistletoe Cottage was the most beautiful place to stay. Everywhere was spotless and so tastefully decorated. Our hosts provided some well appreciated and essential treats on arrival. The whole cottage was extremely comfortable and cosily warm. Jayne met us on arrival to let us in and was easily contactable if we needed her. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. The only confusing thing on leaving was that we didn't know the code for the key safe, because the number wasn't provided on our booking confirmation. However, I contacted Jayne and all was good.

Pros: Lovely cottage in a lovely quiet village. Host was welcoming and had thought of everything you could possibly need. Lovely welcome package of milk, butter, eggs. Cottage was beautifully decorated and was just lovely. The bed was so comfortable.

Cons: The only thing was lots of duck filled cushions and pillows as we are allergic. There were other non allergy pillows so was ok

Simply fantastic

Pros: Excellent in every measurable way. Honestly couldn't fault a single thing.

Lovely cottage.

Pros: The cottage is lovely and perfectly located for what we wanted. The accommodation is tastfully decorated and comfortable and we had a wonderful stay. Our host Jayne is lovely and we felt very well.looked after. Thank you 😊

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Enjoyable family break in peaceful surroundings

Pros: Lovely village location, easy access to York and countryside for walking.
