Finest Retreats - Mowbray

A home away from home. Pure comfort after a busy day.

Pros: We were travelling for work and loved the fact that we both had our own bathrooms. We honestly could not fault this flat as it had everything and more that we needed. The beds were really comfy, kitchen had all the necessary gadgets, including a nespresso machine. (guess what i got for christmas). We looked forward to getting back each night and relaxing in our own space. Nighttime was nice and quiet even though the windows are street facing. We would definitely book in again when next in York. Great to have your own private parking spot too.

Cons: unfortunately i was looking to the right of the front door for the keys on arrival, and should have looked on the left. I arrived after dark and had to use my torch to use it/find it. perhaps an auto light above would have been useful. Instructions were perfectly clear when I reread them. It was also a puzzle as to which door to use as no numbers were outside, so if you missed the very first instruction on where to find the box, you were lost. This is by no means a negative comment, just a warning to read instructions well. We did struggle to set up the bedroom tv's. This wasn't really a problem as we tended to use the lounge tv together.

A comfortable stay for a short period of time.

Pros: Close to town and you don’t have to use your car if only visiting Harrogate. Property was cosy and comfortable for our needs.

Cons: It had a closed in feeling as didn’t like to open blinds as people could easily see in and only 2 windows in property. Parking space number 11 was too tight to park your car l had to do a few manoeuvres !

Great location and Nicely Presented

Pros: Clear and concise check in details. Nicely presented and very clean, ideal location for working at the Convention Centre as just a short walk. Would stay here again and would recommend.

Cons: Nothing.

Great stay

Pros: Very comfortable, well equipped apartment with parking. Close to the town and quiet.

Cons: The car parking would be tight if you had an SUV.

Excellent accommodation, highly recommended, we will probably stay again.

Pros: Location was very convenient. Within walking distance to town, supermarket and train/bus station. Also, private parking space at the accommodation was convenient.

Would consider renting again.

Pros: Proximity to centre of Harrogate, Size of the property.

Cons: The narrowness of the exit for vehicles. Very tricky to judge the right angles. Instructions for the heating were not very clear, although we finally managed to sort them out.

Comfortable great location.

Pros: Great location, short walk to Main Street. Well equipped for 4 guests very clean.

Cons: No outside area.

Clean, comfortable and in a great location

Pros: My sister and I were staying in Harrogate for a long weekend. The apartment was in a great location which meant we didn’t have to rely on our cars and could walk everywhere. It was warm, comfortable and clean. The only things to watch for were the parking spot would be tight for a big car. Also we had travelled separately but my sister had to keep her car in a carpark about 5 mins walk away as the on street parking was time limited. Otherwise a great place to stay and I’d definitely consider a return visit
