Park House

Pros: Immaculate accommodation in a superb scenic location. All the decoration seemed pristine with thought clearly having been put into the design. A large lounge, and entrance lobby for boots etc. Friendly and adaptable hosts. And, in off-season when we were there at least, very good value for the high standard.

Cons: Nothing! But the final part of the approach is along a track, so we're glad we didn't have a low ground clearance car (and did it for the first time in daylight).

Peaceful fabulous stay with our furbaby

Pros: Upon arrival, Alex was fantastic and welcoming and showing us around. We stayed in the Robin Hoods Bay room. The place was very clean and well presented. The price was fabulous with breakfast included, we loved the fact we could bring our furbaby along too, he loved it. Shower had great pressure, mirrors for use which was fab, extra heater was great, free parking and lovey views. We were a bit worried by the large seated table but at breakfast it was great to actually sit down with strangers and gave conversations which society seems to have lost, breakfast was lovely cooked by Brett, even catering for my Gluten free allergy. My only suggestion would be a bin in the room as well as the bathroom would be handy. Thank you for a lovely stay 🫶.

Excellent, cosy, friendly, good food, off the beaten track.

Pros: Lovely property off the beaten track but still only 20 mins from Middlesbrough. Great local walks. Fantastic hosts, optional evening meal was tasty and plentiful. Will definitely stay again!

Cons: I loved the seclusion but the farm track access may not be for everyone.

Friendly, warm, comfortable with excellent food and a lovely location.

Pros: The hospitality was excellent, as was the food both dinner and breakfast. A really lovely atmosphere.

Pros: Fabulous remote location (access farm track). Lovely house. Great welcome from hosts. Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely use again.

Cons: Very minor, but shower lacked water pressure (suspect due to location - comes with the charm).

An outstanding Country Guesthouse on the Coast to Coast Walk.

Pros: This is a fabulous place for walkers to stay. Alex made me feel very welcome. The ensuite room was comfortable, there is an interesting lounge and the views over the Vale of York just lovely. I had a top quality evening meal, an excellent breakfast and a packed lunch to sustain me on the walk.

Wonderful peaceful farmhouse, great food, good company. I would highly recommend staying here.

Pros: Wonderful farmhouse with fabulous views. Our room was cosy, warm and beautifully decorated. The entire house was spotlessly clean. The guest lounge was a real bonus-a lovely room to relax, chat and play a game of darts. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious (thank you chef Brett)! Alix and Brett were so very kind and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We will return to take advantage of the hiking along the Coast to Coast Path which is on the doorstep.

A Woodside Gem!

Pros: Alex and Brett are great hosts. Lovely to meet Alex’s parents round the dinner table. The salted caramel pana cotta was to die for! Our room, “Moors” was delightful! Comfy beds and a nice hot shower. We will definitely be back! And can’t wait to see how the chicks have grown.
