The Smeaton at Claremont Apartments

Pros: Well situated for my purposes. Clean and well kept up property. Well equipped.

Cons: Chairs and table don't match in height. The bed needs new mattresses, also firmer ones than the existing ones would be the modern standard.

Great value for money stay in Leeds

Pros: Location was great for Leeds City Centre and Headingley. Nice big double bed and nice bathroom and shower. Downstairs was small but had everything that we needed for the couple of nights.

Cons: No parking at the property for this appartment, but there appeared to be for others. A tiny bit of damp on the ceiling of the living space.

Pros: Excellent facilities, very clean and exceptional value for money.

Pros: Lovely location and house, helpful staff, bed super comfortable

Cons: The stairs to bedroom are very steep, carpet on stairs is loose. Would not be accessible to all.

Great apartment

Pros: Like a home from home, with all the facilities you need. Nicky the manager was really nice and couldn't be more helpful when I had a few questions about the area, cabs etc and always had a warm greeting for you when you saw her.

Pros: Lovely stay. Felt a bit chilly when we arrived but we put on the heating and electric fireplace and it was warm and cozy very quickly. Very comfortable bed in second floor with big and classy bathroom. About 10min walk from center of Leeds but very quiet area.

Pros: Well decorated. Great shower with good pressure and hot water.

Cons: Damp without heating on. Stairwell to bedroom is poorly maintained. Carpet loose and wall chipped. Finding parking nearby was difficult and yet car park had space throughout my stay.

Magnificent accommodation with a perfect location and tasteful fittings for a cut rate price.

Pros: Incredible value for money, this property was nicer than my own flat. A gorgeous shower, soft bed, and tasteful decor blew me away.

Cons: Travellers are advised that the Smeaton room specifically has a steep staircase leading to the only bedroom and toilet. It is pitch black in the stairs with the lights off even in the daytime.

Perfect for my trip

Pros: Nice property. Everything within the property was useful for example; iron, washing machine etc.

Cons: The only thing I missed was a microwave when I bought something microwaveable but I should have checked before.

fantastic! Exactly what I needed for a work trip. Friendly and accommodating management.

Pros: Friendly and welcoming staff who did what they could to make my stay excellent, including organising a late check out which was much appreciated.

Cons: This is not a reflection of the apartment - I had neighbours on either side of me for 3 nights who seemed to know each other and had late night get togethers (totally fine and normal!) but they would go from one room to another and let the heavy doors slam which kept me up for 2 nights. This wasnt ideal as I was there for work. I did leave them a note on the second night and they seemed to take more care to close doors. Perhaps the apartment management could add a note to close doors quietly on the upper room as the noise carries very easily.
