Wellington Studio Sleeps 2 Pets Ok Free Parking

Cosy and compact studio in the countryside

Pros: There were some nice touches - porridge pots for breakfast, good quality shower gel and shampoo and it was very cosy and quiet. We had already eaten, but the food available in the adjoining pub looked good

Cons: Although clean overall the mouldy shower cubicle let it down. For us the bed was a little soft, but that is just personal taste

Pros: The host was very helpful. The room was nice and clean and warm. Very cosy The bed was comfortable, too.

Cons: No proper breakfast. I had to go into town for something to eat.

Pros: On the C2C hike there is a little place called welbury, Where you can find the duke of Wellington. not far from the route. Worth a visit, tasty food in the pub and a neat room, with coffee, tea and kettle and good cereals.

In general the place is good however there were some facilities missing.

Pros: The room was comfortable and smart with a nice bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. Wee had a good meal in the pub.

Cons: The description on Booking.com is inaccurate. It states that there are kitchen and kitchenware and none is provided other than the normal tea and coffee making facilities. This is a BIG error and really should be corrected. As a minimum we expected a small fridge. It was not possible to connect to the WiFi in our room and I was unable to check that the facilities advertised were not being provided

We enjoyed our stay and would return if we needed to be in that location again

Pros: We ate at the attached pub both nights. The food was lovely. Lots of parking. Dogs were welcomr

Lovely location

Pros: Great location, cosy accommodation, welcoming hosts a great find

short trip

Pros: all good, local to what we needed. 30 minutes to York.

Cons: nothing.

Pros: A lovely room , very accommodating staff and a lovely location !

Nice village and quiet location.

Pros: Whole apartment to self. Cosy and warm. Nice neutral decor. Good email communication. It was clean throughout. Overall pleasant and marketed at the right price.

Cons: Mattress was average. I like my mattress to be more plush.

Pros: Excellent value - I was on a one night stay while cycling LEJOG - basic accomodation and excellent value - cycle storage provided and evening meal in the adjoining pub was very good - good pub atmosphere and service. Tea/coffee/milk etc in room and a carton of breakfast oats which was unexpected but useful to start the day. Attentive and friendly hosts running the pub as well.
