Excellent flat in a great location for York Ciry Centre

Pros: Communication was great, a few bits in the fridge and kitchen were really nice. As i have to return to York I will be definitely seeing if this place is free first

Cons: Parking a little bit tight

Wonderful Stay for 1st Visit to York

Pros: Everything, it was exceptionally clean. So many things available which you don’t normally get, ideal for parents with a baby. Found the whole apartment very comfortable, lovely bed and the bathroom was lovely. There was fresh milk, orange juice, eggs and yoghurts, with a lovely array of mini jams, tea, coffee etc. Both my wife and I had a very comfortable stay and found the 26 minute walk into York very nice rather than waiting for buses.

Cons: Nothing, couldn’t fault it at all. I made the mistake of leaving a shirt when we left and Eleanor very kindly posted it back to me. Very kind of her.

Brilliant amd allowed to leave our car for the day!

Pros: Bed was made up for our child. Everything was available you need to self cook. Lovely location just like in the film Oliver

Cons: Nothing, just didn’t have bin liners so we used our plastic bags.

Overall a very pleasant stay.

Pros: Excellent communication from host with everything in the accomodation you could ask for. Amazing sleep on the sofa bed, and lovely welcome hamper for breakfast.

Cons: Main bed a little hard for my liking. Room noisy from boiler and could hear tv upstairs. Bathroom fan needs a clean.

Fabulous stay

Pros: Had an amazing stay here, and I would not stay anywhere else if returning to York. The attention to detail was superb and had everything I needed to for a welcoming stay. The welcome pack of fresh bread, butter, yoghurt, and milk was such a treat. The convenience of not needing to worry about finding a convenience store in the cold, dark, and wet evening was most appreciated. Added plus for free parking in York was also a bonus.

Fantastic brilliantly equipped apartment within easy reach of the City yet peaceful. We will return!!

Pros: Everything, we loved it. Home from home and we will be back in September and all other times we come to York. Eleanor is a charming host and provided everything we needed for breakfast and late night snacks :-). Is a lovely square, quiet despite being near the city and great to have parking there.

A cosy home away from home

Pros: Nice host, shared with us on the best way to get into town. Provided much breakfast items which we could not finished. It’s a cosy little small house, part of the host’s house basement with a living room, bedroom, a small kitchen and toilet. We could cook a meal on one of the nights. Value for money 👍

Cons: We like everything. But would be good to have a manual or instruction to operate some of the kitchen equipment 🤗
