Fountain Apartment No 2 with Free Parking

We enjoyed our stay in York and the apartment was just what we were looking for.

Pros: Location was really good and having a parking space.

Cons: The pillows were terrible. Pillowcases filled with lumps of foam.

Excellent property

Pros: Clean, spacious, parking, convenient location, comfortable

Got a couple small issues easily fixed, even so would 100% recommend

Pros: Location is ace, flat really good size, clean and has everything you need, instructions where clear on finding it and entry.

Cons: Let down by a few things though, curtains don’t match in living room - weird for such a nice flat, mattress is not the best, same with pillows, really cheap thin duvet, tv is low quality - most people used to 4k resolution and when watching terristal channels low quality picture. No cushions on sofa.

Pros: Communication from the agent was really good and clear. Easy to find and gain entry to apartment. The location was perfect, and the apartment was very clean. Really happy with everything.

Cons: Duvet and pillows were poor quality, otherwise, everything was great

Ideal location, lovely little getaway & will definitely be returning!

Pros: We loved the modern layout and how spacious it was! It felt like home from home!

Cons: Little bit noisy with other residents coming in and out of the property, but apart from that it was perfect!

Fabulous location and ace apartment

Pros: The location is perfect! Literally a merry slow stroll to the main area and you'll be at York Minster in 5 minutes! Tesco and Sainsbury's are a breath away and lots of food options right on the doorstep. The apartment itself was ace, lots of care in regards to the amenities, they supply Washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, laundry tabs, tea n coffee to set you up. Plus the bonus of gated parking (York is rather pricey at £5.40 per hour!)

Cons: Nothing much not to like but I would've liked a speedier reply when messaging, a little bit more accommodating would've been appreciated. The apartment is lovely and warm but better bedding would be welcomed (duvet a little on the small and thin side, pillows rather lumpy) none of these issues put me off and I would happily return

Pros: Location, cleanliness, staff response times, free parking.

Cons: To be picky I would mention the pillows were abit uncomfortable on the beds.

Pros: The location of the apartment and that it had a dedicated parking bay. Very clean. Spacious.

The parking and location are great. The nearness of the supermarket & food outlets are a great bonus

Pros: The convenience store could not be nearer. Fast food outlets and restaurants are on the same street. It's a short walk to the historic centre of town. We liked the decor and high ceilings.

Cons: The double bed is only a standard size. (We used the single and the double for the two of us but that is not our preferred sleeping arrangement) Not enough towel rails in the bathroom. There is plenty of room to add more simple rails to keep towels off the floor. The missmatched and torn curtains are not very nice. (When you replace them wax the curtain rail so that they open and close without tugging). The shower tray needs mould treatment.

The York Experience

Pros: Very close walking distance to everything and quiet area. Amazing to have shop right underneath you for anything needed. The place kindly provided some tea, coffee and sugar and milk for few day as well as toilet paper, towels and washing up liquids. The place itself clean. Beds comfortable. Lovely bathroom.

Cons: The gates banging every time someone left was not great. Also, no fans on the hottest day of the year was not fun. Also, I'm not sure who checking place, but when we arrived, we went to make ourselves a cup of tea. The 2 cups were pulled down, where filty and stained. So maybe wash anything you plan to use first, even if it looks clean. Though a quick fix to wash them was surprised as everything else clean and tidy.
