It was amazing.

Pros: Only stayed one night but its was lovely, a really cosy little room with a comfy bed and working telly. The room was clean and generous with the toiletries they provided aswell as coffee and tea. The location is around a 5 min walk to the center making it really easy to go out for a meal or a drink. It was very quiet at night time aswell making it easy for a good night sleep.

Cons: When checking in, little information was given as to where to check in (going round the back) and where to leave your key when you check out, but honestly that was all :)

Excellent

Pros: Really comfy room, clean facilities, convenient location and excellent food. Loved our short stay.

Had a lovely time. And will definitely be going back and will definitely stay there again.

Pros: The room , and location were both fabulous, Lee the owner and all staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough All work extremely hard to ensure everyone has a great time..

Cons: The outside area was slippy.. Especially when wet. Can’t be helped as on a slight hill. Just be careful and more aware.

A fabulous stay in a delightful town

Pros: Everything. Quirky features, lovely comfortable room and the restaurant is fabulous.

Cons: Didn’t love the car park but appreciate that parking facilities are at a premium in this area. Easy walking distance to nearest public car park.

Pros: The staff, the welcome, the room, the FOOD all brilliant. Loved the quirkiness! Beds super comfortable.

Cons: Nothing not to like. On a personal note as we're so old(!) a hand grab rail would be very helpful in a bath shower. You're not alone - no-one thinks of it.

Lovely little hotel, very different from the usual, run of the mill accommodation.

Pros: It's a lovely, quirky little hotel with real charm and character. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the bed was the most comfortable we have slept in other than our own, the view from the room was lovely and the breakfast was the best I've had in a hotel for a long time.

Cons: Black pudding with the breakfast please, the only thing missing. And larger bath towels. While we are no longer as slim as we were (!), we are far from obese, but these struggled to maintain our modesty.

Quirky meets quality. Great venue.

Pros: Beautiful pub restaurant and hotel. We loved it. The owners really looked after us. Would recommend highly.

Would stay again

Pros: Communication and check in were good. Staff welcoming, friendly and responsive. Quirky decor Excellent location just off town centre, not noisy. Comfortable bed. Breakfast as good as it gets - tasty, well presented, no issue accommodating tweak to menu Parking, although a bit steep to get into

Cons: No bedside lights to allow reading in bed. Could be addressed if wardrobe was moved to side wall rather than flush with bed. Not sure why room was set up this way. Otherwise room was decent size and comfortable

Good stay in all

Pros: The room was lovely ,nice and peaceful and comfortable, bed was great ,staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean decent bathroom.

Cons: The room was lovely, but didn't like sliding door to bath room and the glass panels were nice but when you use bathroom in night the light lit up the room

Pros: Location was excellent. The pub and restaurant were lovely and the food was amazing. The staff were very friendly.

Cons: The room could do with decorating.The walls were marked and carpet stained. But that didn’t affect our stay.
