A perfect weekend in Yorkshire

Pros: Everything. The property (home) is beautiful. The bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Decor is modern and perfectly to my taste. The breakfast was excellent. The village is a must to walk around. It has everything you need.

Lovely place with extremely helpful host.

Pros: Room really comfortable, good shower and spacious bathroom. Carol is a very welcoming host - and gives good trip tips and is very friendly and helpful. We stayed a couple of years ago and were really pleased to come again. Lots of extras provided - two lovely fluffy dressing gowns, use of her local OS map etc....

Cons: Nothing! All was good.

A gem in the dales

Pros: Although parking was on street the Location was pleasant and quiet. Access to walk the nearby canal (the Leeds - Liverpool) towpath was no more than 50 yards away. Two public houses for evening meals within 10 minutes walking distance. Our double room was comfortable, well serviced, spotlessly clean, with a plentiful supply of tea and coffee and fresh milk. A large bed with good mattress ensured a sound nights sleep. The ensuite bathroom was modern, also spotless, and with an efficient shower in a spacious cubicle. Our hostess friendly, a supreme breakfast chef, and knowledgeable Thanks Carol.

Lovely stay

Pros: Carol’s breakfasts were excellent and plenty of choice of what to have. Tea/Coffee and biscuits in our beautiful bedroom. The En-suite was clean and spacious. Hanging space was good for long weekend stays. Lovely garden space to use when needed, nothing was too much for Carol and her husband who made us feel very much at home. Parking space beside the property and public transport was available very close to the property if needed. We would happily stay again and would happily recommend to anyone looking for a great B & B in and around Gargrave or Skipton.

Cons: Nothing - it was comfortable, clean and welcoming.
