Wensleydale 17 Caravan

Pros: It was OK when we arrived, caravan was clean, plenty of room.

Cons: A lot of traffic as on a corner plot . The kettle took for ever to boil ( electric ), it leaked. The curtains in the main area were hanging off and the door need a blackout curtain as there was a lampost out side shining in and one bedroom. For me the outside steps moved and felt unsecure The hoover was blocked so we had to sort it out.

Pros: Very cosy caravan comfy bed and sofas, free wifi and all the streaming channels, equiped with everything you need for a relaxing stay, communication from the host excellent we will be back to stay here again 😀

Cons: The on-siite pub stops serving meals at 8pm, which we thought was a little early but couldn't fault the staff in the pub and shop only mentioned just so others are aware too 😀.

Great!

Pros: Great little break, had everything included we needed. Clean and comfy, In a great location on site and not overlooked. Excellent communication from host. Will definitely be booking again!

All in all a good stay with great owner who helped quickly with problems.

Pros: Great location, great price in the Easter holidays and the owner was very responsive. Beds were comfortable and we had a lovely stay. Great to be able to explore the Yorkshire dales and the swimming pool was cute and fun for the toddler (but deffo go to reception to book as soon as you arrive so you don't miss out if not before)

Cons: The couple of things that were problems were sorted with the owner quickly who called out maintenance to help (shower temp was off while we were there so we couldn't use it one day but the following morning it was sorted quickly). Just a note to others : this is a well loved family holiday home that is rented out to people this means there are possessions and toiletries that belong to the owners dotted about (it didn't bother me but it could bother some so just to be aware that when you arrive you may find shower gel and shampoo in the shower cubicle that aren't yours - makes no difference to you really but some people would expect it to be cleared of items)

Pros: Accommodation is clean, tidy and set it up very neatly. Kids loved it. Location is great.

Cons: Swimming pool was nice but even though we booked the slot, when we appeared, they haven't booked our slot. Later, the incharge of the pool was very understanding and kindly allowed us.

A lovely, well maintained site, very clean caravan

Pros: The caravan is lovely, very clean, with carpet and soft furnishings looking new. It's well equipped, beautifully located. The owner was extremely approachable and helpful.

Cons: The site has only a small swimming pool and a restaurant,nothing else for kids. The shower in the caravan was temperamental and there's limited pots and crockery selection - there were only 3 of us, but the pots were still tiny.

Pros: We loved our stay here! The caravan was comfortable, really well kitted out and great value for money. The caravan site itself is quiet and is in the perfect location for exploring the local countryside.
