Lovely place, very relaxing

Pros: We booked a last minute 2 night stay for Feb half term, we arrived and the heating was on which was so welcoming, the place is stunning, a lovely home from home, sofa and beds super comfortable, my children 12 and 15 loved it. It was very spacious, bigger than we needed. The garden is stunning and would love to return in summer to be able to get full use of it. Lovely area and very quiet. My son left his iPad behind and the housekeeper Debbie was fantastic at communicating and keeping it safe until we could return for it. So happy with our stay.

Cons: Can’t fault it. Maybe a new tv remote as the batteries kept falling out as the back was missing and some buttons stiff!!

Bob and Gill

Pros: location good. house clean and very comfortable. Beds very good.

Cons: Tv controllers need replacing.

Brilliant break in a lovely clean and comfortable home

Pros: The property was clean and comfortable in a good location. It was close to good pubs, a local shop and great for exploring the area. It was great for myself and 2 friends with our dogs. Having 2 bedrooms with wash basins in made it a great space to share with friends. The comfortable kitchen/dining/sitting area was nice and very useful as it was a good sociable space with a separate living room too.

Cons: The garden access, although the pictures show it wasn’t a conventional garden space.

Good position and big house

Pros: The house is big and the kitchen has everything you need The host is helpful and friendly.

Great accomodation in a lovely village with beautiful surroundings

Pros: Comfortable, nicely decorated and felt homely. Lovely village with 2 pubs and a well equipped shop all in walking distance. 2 toilets which is great especially if you are with a number of guests. Well equipped for cooking and living. I would have liked to stay another few nights. Parking right outside the door. Lovely garden up the stairs behind the house. Milk in the fridge.

Cons: Coffee needed to be refilled. Might be nice to have some bathroom shampoo etc available.

Comfortable pit stop on a longer journey

Pros: Milk in fridge and biscuits to welcome us. Well equipped, comfortable and roomy. Nice location, on street parking. Nice little garden with a lovely view.

Cons: Took a while to work out how to use the induction hob as not used to one. Eventually found instruction book in a cupboard.

Comfortable well equipped accommodation in a very scenic area.

Pros: Well laid out and ample space in the kitchen diner which was well equipped for self catering.

Cons: All ok.

We will definitely be back

Pros: Beautiful, cozy, very clean cottage. Beds are very very comfy

Fantastic excellent value would definitely stay again

Pros: Lovely spacious property which comfortably accommodated our family for a long weekend. Well situated and lovely location with its own parking space. Great communication with the owner. Very comfy beds and everything you might need.

Cons: We all have certain things in the kitchen we are used to which are unique to each family so must be a bit of a nightmare to cater for in a holiday cottage - for us some pasta bowls and perhaps sharper kitchen scissors & knives would have been appreciated - but this is a minor complaint and very much a personal preference!
