Katys Cottage

Gorgeous homely cottage.

Pros: The cottage was so nicely decorated and felt very homely. It was exceptionally clean and we especially liked the thoughtful touches such as milk in the fridge! Everything was there that we needed and more. Would highly recommend and will be using again.

Another great stay, visiting our son in Barlick.

Pros: Perfect location. Facilities just what we needed and a bottle of wine on arrival went down well!

Cons: No bath mat in the bathroom.

Comfortable and cosy cottage

Pros: Katy's cottage is in a good location, close to Barnoldswick Town centre. Everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay, including a spotless well equipped kitchen with the essentials provided, including a washing machine, iron and ironing board . A comfortable and bright living room with choice of lighting and 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds. Spotless bathroom and excellent shower with bathroom toiletries provided in case you've forgotten anything.

Cons: Parking is on the road on a first come, first served basis.

Great location to explore the town and surrounding area.

Pros: Well equipped, lots of helpful extras. Immaculately clean throughout.

Lovely, welcoming property - would happily revisit

Pros: Lovely little property - the photos don't do it justice - with a huge amount of care and thought given to the comfort and entertainment of guests. For example, there were games and books provided, and a few useful personal essentials in the bathroom. Good location - you can walk into town in one direction and up to the moor in the other - and relatively easy to park. Sufficient hanging space for everyone's damp towels, which is a rare pleasure! Excellent chippy just 5 minutes' walk away!

Cons: There was no control over the heating. It got very chilly one evening and the heating didn't come on. There were lots of blankets and hot water bottles, of which we made full use, but would have been nicer if we had been able to switch on the heating for a while. The floor gets particularly chilly, so bring slippers!

Pros: Sehr gemütliches Apartment mit voll ausgestatteter Küche (Gewürze, Café, Tee, Öl, Mikrowelle, etc)! Kostenfreier Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus, sehr unkomplizierter Zugang!
