Coatham Cottage

Lovely place to stay.

Pros: I stay here several time a year, the location is perfect just minutes from the motorway. The village is very quiet and the locals are friendly and welcoming. Claire has thought of everything you need in the cottage, it’s beautifully decorated and planned out. She is incredibly helpful and always on hand if needed. Take some time to visit the local pub and walk around the village. Parking is literally outside the front door.

Perfect mini break to catch up with friends in the area for my 70th birthday!

Pros: Excellent information booklet, lovely treats left on arrival, great communication with the host. The photographs of the property don't do it justice. It is an absolute find!

Cons: Having to leave 😂

Pros: The property was excellent in every aspect. I have never seen as much attention to detail in a rented property. The location is really good for walking to shop & pub and for driving to the A1. The village is beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Perfect location. Tastefully decorated and furnished and beautifully cleaned. host had even put Christmas decorations around. Superb welcome pack.

A perfect cottage

Pros: A fabulous place to stay! The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished. So many thoughtful touches, such as the gift hamper on arrival and milk in the fridge. Everything was taken care of perfectly. The location is great in Barton village, next door to the post office/general store.

A perfect gem of a house.

Pros: A great house with everything kept perfectly, and with everything you need for your break. I’ve stayed here several times and the house is always perfectly clean, very comfortable beds and warm.

Pros: It was absolutely perfect. We felt at home straight away. Immaculately clean and a proper home from home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and had plenty of storage space. I would highly recommend this cottage

Great little cottage with a shop right next door. Peaceful quiet location

Pros: Right next door to a shop, really spacious inside with beautiful decor

It was an ideal base for a wedding at Middleton Lodge.

Pros: Very good value for money..excellent cleanliness and very comfortable and cosy once heating is turned on.

Cons: Only one very quiet pub in village that doesn’t serve food. No cafes but a great wee shop next door to the accommodation.

Great Yorkshire Cottageŕ

Pros: Cottage was first class, it fulfilled all our needs, it was very clean and comfortable. The cottage was in a lovely area and was a great base for all that we wanted to see and do.

Cons: Nothing, it was perfect.
