Clearwater 17th Century Cottage

We had a fantastic week away at a great location .

Pros: The river side . South facing seating area . Lovely village . Quiet village . A great pub .

Pros: the set up of the cottage was very quaint and old fashioned it was so cosy. The bottle of wine was a very nice surprise as well thank you.

Cons: carpet on stairs wasn't fitted properly bit of a hazard

Pros: The cottage was comfortable and had all that we needed for our stay. The quiet location in a pretty village, overlooking the stream was delightful. We made use of the variety of garden furniture.

Cons: The information about the location of the entrance to the cottage could have been clearer i.e. the access is behind another cottage, through wrought iron gates by the garage.

Beautiful Yorkshire Cottage Stay

Pros: Stunning location next to the little stream and bridge in the middle of a very picturesque Yorkshire village. Very comfortable and quaint stay.

Cons: Very minor point that didn’t really impact our stay but there is some mould in the bathroom that needs attention.

Pros: Beds really comfy, beautiful views, well equipped kitchen

Pros: Everything, stunning location. Pure comfort, furnishings and beds wonderful. Everything we could possibly need was there for us. Would definitely return. 😊

We had an enjoyable and pleasant trip.

Pros: loved the location the property was in, pretty village, very quiet. Lovely pub across the green The Stanwick Arms, food very nice. The cottage was very comfortable for our stay, loved the river running along the back of the cottage, shame it was too windy to sit outside. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the beds were comfortable. The wine and chocolates were lovely and thank you. Not having been to that part of Yorkshire before we enjoyed our stay and would love to return again.

Cons: The bathroom blinds had stains and some mould and brown marks around the bath and dust around the bath panel. I didn't use the washing machine but it looked as if it had been used and the water had dried inside the drum and you could see black around the rubber from it not having been wiped and there was a smell coming from the washing machine.

An absolute gem

Pros: An absolutely idyllic cottage, so beautiful and perfectly provisioned: spacious, warm, comfortable and in a lovely location. Everything you could want was provided. The riverside spot across the green from a lovely local pub was perfect.

Fantastic stay in a lovely part of the country

Pros: Everything about the property was great. A really well appointed kitchen, towels provided, and all we needed for a lovely short break The stream beyond the garden was a big draw for the children who loved it.

Cons: Nothing!

Perfect..amazing price for the location, myself and my children had a wonderful stay!

Pros: Stunning location, perfect for a relaxing stress free break, the stream running through the front of the property was perfect to relax and switch off! Lovely friendly community, my children made a new friend in Storm the pony, the owner was always so friendly allowing the children to feed her horse and pony carrots :) Highly recommend a beautiful little Italian restaurant in Richmond, called Rafael’o Italian! The food was 10/10
