Church View

Very nice place to stay, but very expensive and you do not get the quality of service I would expect from a place this h

Pros: The property was in the perfect location for us and very well maintained. It was also easy to check in to.

Cons: There was not many supplies you’d usually get (such as only 4 tea bags for a 4 night stay of 3 people) and no milk (long life or otherwise) They charged my card for the stay nearly 6 months in advance of the terms of the booking, and then when I asked for the money back they just wanted to cancel my booking. There is nowhere else to stay around Christmas near my family so I had no option but to accept the early charge.

Pros: Very beautiful property in a lovely peaceful rural setting.

It was perfect for the nearby wedding we attended, and comfortably furnished.

Pros: Lovely comfortable house. Great beds and bedding. Perfect for wedding 25 minutes walk away at Hornington Manor which manages the house.

Cons: There was no cafetière or other means of making coffee other than instant. The ironing board is very worn out so at least the cover should be replaced. There is not much kitchen equipment, so I think if you were catering for yourself, it would be quite challenging. There were no instructions with the house as to how to use things. I got the impression it is not occupied very much, and I think the cleaning could be a bit more thorough.

Comfortable weekend stay

Pros: Very comfortable and quiet village location. Great for 2 couples or family.

Cons: Limited storage in the kitchen. There is no cupboard space for food. Could do with the cobwebs cleaning from behind beds and bedside cabinets

A very spacious, clean, comfortable accommodation with plenty of household amenities.

Pros: It was in a very quiet picturesque village down winding roads and opposite a church, hence the name of the cottage. It was very well equipped for a longer stay with fridges, washer, dishwasher, cooker and microwave plus a lovely spacious bathroom

Cons: The bells from the church ringing on the hour every hour through the night!

Pros: Lovely location near to wedding venue at Honnington manor

Cons: I understood when booking there was parking but it is first come first serve on the road outside the Church. The neighbour is clearly fed up with people driving up looking for parking. House was also chilly when we arrived- no heating- sorted next morning, but we were out all day

Sweet cottage in peaceful idyllic historic village.

Pros: Cosy cottage in lovely historic village, well equipped and comfortable. Check in was a simple and easy keysafe, bed was fab. Well placed for surrounding towns and the A1. Church and village charming to walk around, neighbours friendly.

Pros: Very easy to setle in, beautiful location, very comfy beds...

Cons: Parking allication a bit unclear. Said to park around back but that area had been blocked off.

Comfortable, clean cottage. Enjoyable stay.

Pros: Comfy beds. Warm quilts. Good shower. Comfy settees. Clean and tidy.

Cons: Needs a working light outside front. Pitch black! Heating not sufficient and curtains cover radiators. Hob hard to use. Needs a new ironing board. Better lamp in lounge, we had to bring a bedside lamp down as didn’t want main light on.

Pros: Great cottage, very clean, cosy and comfortable. Great location also and good value for money.
