Peaceful relaxing comfortable stay.

Pros: The location was very rural and so peaceful. Loved seeing chickens horses sheep and cows. Plus rabbits and squirrels. The bed was really comfy which is very important for a great night's sleep.

Cons: Having to leave!!!

Pros: Private The location and setting lovely to sit and watch the chickens and horses etc

Cons: The bed could have a king-size quilt as it is a king-size bed Some of the cookware needs replacing These are minor issues but did not affect our stay as we would return

Perfect stay

Pros: A beautiful comfy lodge in a tranquil setting - comfy beds, Maxine is friendly as are the animals, outdoor space is fab and it's very private.

Cons: There was nothing not to like. The only thing we would have preferred was walking distance to pub and shop. But we knew this before we booked so it's not a negative. You can walk to Kirkby Malzeard but we couldn't figure out the route.

Pros: This lodge was beautiful and clean. Very light and airy. Has everything you need for a brilliant stay. Maxine and her husband were absolutely amazing with their local knowledge and looking after us and our children. She honestly couldn’t do enough for you. Our little ones loved the chickens and horses and of course the beautiful dogs. Gorgeous location on a night when it’s dark and you can see the stars very clear in the sky. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you both

Cute and cosy Lodge with beautiful walks

Pros: The property was very quiet and is situated perfectly. Ideal for relaxing getaways and quiet, scenic walks. Would recommend a walk to Greygarth monument for the spectacular views. Hosts were great, very welcoming and friendly. The shortbread on arrival to the room was very thoughtful
