Great long weekend break

Pros: Lovely homely feel, loved the wood burner, especially after being out in December weather. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Close to train station so easily get to York.

Excellent cottage in every respect and a lovely owner to deal with!

Pros: Perfect location for visiting this part of North Yorkshire. Superbly furnished, very clean and comfortable. Diana the owner was brilliant and resolved a booking issue that was clearly the fault of either Booking.com or Cottages.com, and definitely not hers!

Cons: Parking is a little tight at the rear of the cottage and your reversing skills will need to be pretty good! NB there is nothing that the owner can do about this!
