Pros: Location and scenery were breathtaking... Staff were exceptional.... cottage was clean, warm and comfortable... deer and peacocks were great to see. We would return... staff immediately came to cottage to provide additional wood and explain heating system... great for our canine companions... hot tub a winner, comfy bed.

Cons: As beautiful as it was, the cost for 3 nights remains pretty steep - £764 for a cottage and is more expensive than very similar places we have visited. I also understand why a 10 a.m check out is necessary, but 11 a.m would be more reasonable for those that like a lazy final morning and a coffee in the restaurant.

Lovely location and Lodge

Pros: The whole lodge was lovely and well presented and clean. The hot tub was fantastic.

Cons: The central heating was too complicated to operate and was on permanently. Would of liked a smart TV in the bedroom to log into our TV subscriptions and IPlayer etc.

Fantastic family break

Pros: Perfect house which met all our needs as a family. Kids loved the peacocks, pool table and jacuzzi! We will be back! Absolutely loved it and right next to the outdoor pool with a 10 minute lovely walk to the restaurant. Highly recommended

Cons: Poor lighting in the master bedroom, as well as the landing. Other rooms perfect. Also the road to the property is very narrow with huge pot holes. This was a scary experience leaving the property as it snowed and made it slippy. Not sure if this is the estates road and responsibility? But could have been made safer especially in the snow.

Cons: Nothing was an amazing stay 😊

Amazing hosts, amazing park and amazing lodge

Pros: The pub on arrival is beautiful and really sets the scene for the park. The lodge was lovely and clean, spacious and really well decorated. The hosts were really accommodating for my check in time and I would 100% stay again it was lovely

Cons: The WiFi wasn’t the best connection but as we were having a quiet break away with friends that didn’t matter too much. We tried to clean up but the hoover was full of water and the shower in the master bedroom wouldn’t get to a hot temperature only luke warm but honestly these were small issues and don’t affect my rating of the stay
