The Old Forge

Pros: Lovely cottage in a beautiful location close to the church in Haworth. Easy access to lovely walking on the Moors. Very comfortable and good facilities with private parking. Excellent.

Cons: If you have a car bigger than an Ibiza/juke, park in the car park! Space is extremely tight

Perfect

Pros: A cozy little cottage nestled at the top of Haworth’s cobbled Main Street. Arranged over 3 floors the cottage is beautifully furnished and very comfortable… a real home from home. I stated there whilst working in nearby Bradford for a week but I’d love to go back and stay when I have the time to explore the

Cons: Parking is a tad tight but my small car fitted perfectly on the space. There is a car park nearby if it’s a struggle with a bigger vehicle

Everything I hoped it would be. Escapism.

Pros: Stunningly beautiful, peaceful location. Property very clean and well equipped. Hosts very clear in giving directions and instructions for key collection.

Cons: Having to strip the beds and put the bins out felt a bit like being at home, which I was trying escape. Was advised in advance that parking was tricky as the property was built way before cars arrived. That given, I like a challenge, it beat me. Pretty sure I encroached on the very tolerant neighbours 'drive' and I took my chance to move the car as soon as others had left The Fold. I parked overnight in the museum carpark. It was the driving equivalent of taking my bra off! So much more relaxing!

Pros: Parking and the location at the top of the street.

Cons: My partner has mobility difficulties but he generally gets around them. The only problem he encountered with the property was when at the top of the stairs, the handrail ends before climbing the last step. There is nothing to grab hold of if unsteady. However, we would choose the Old Forge first when visiting Haworth.

Pros: Character property set in the heart of Brontë village next to the Brontë school house,parsonage,in a quiet area.It’s Clean and everything there you need.very spacious.utterly beautiful surrounded by quirky shops,three pubs and the church.owners are fantastic and nothings a problem for them.Highly recommend this historical property.It is utterly gorgeous.Full of history and country charm.

Cons: Couldnt use the internet as the code didn’t work and couldn’t find a QR code as stated in the information.This wasn’t a problem couldn’t find any fault with anything we’ve enjoyed every minute being there-the only other thing is that quite a bit of noise coming from the kings arms pub garden area late at night/early morning but only on the weekends as the property is directly behind this pub but no trouble or anything to worry about.just people having fun but can get loud when in bed if your not used to noise.Some may get upset about this but we were ok with it and think the pub tries to keep it under control.think we geared it more because we had to sleep with the window open being a hot week.

A little tranquil haven, perfect for exploring or just relaxing with a Bronte novel

Pros: Beautiful house, perfectly situated in the town. Equipt with everything, and more, we needed for our stay. Property was clean and spacious with views of the church from the lounge and easy access to local attractions. Given how central the house is it was quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be returning!

Cons: Weather was colder than anticipated (not the fault of the house!) and we found it difficult to warm the house up. Parking was tight but manageable, there’s alternative parking very close by which we had to use on one occasion (didn’t bother us at all though)

Lovely place to stay

Pros: This was a return stay and we will be staying again . That probably says it all .
