Cons: The house was a little cold on arrival but the owner advised us to leave the electric fire on all the time and we had no further issue after that.

Pros: The decor and ambiance , high quality appliances , close to centre , lovely outdoor bench

Cons: A little dark in the winter , can do with better lighting in bathroom for make up , difficult to get consistent hot water in the shower but maybe we didn’t know how to operate

Pros: Beautifully quirky decoration and excellent location for exploring the area. Lots of information available in the the booklet and everything you could possibly need for a short stay in the kitchen. Parking behind the property was very handy and the owner was on hand to help us with the code for the key deposit safe when it didn't work. A lovely touch was leaving as a bottle of wine and some chocolate for which we are very grateful. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much!

Cons: It was a bit cold on entry to the flat and took until the evening to warm up, but I guess that's to be expected at this cold and damp time of year

Quirky little place with loads of character & charm - an ideal holiday retreat

Pros: Everything was great - there was great attention to detail in the house & location was great . Games, books , a reading nook & welcome pack - lots of thoughtful touches to make it feel special

Cons: Nothing - Everything was of good quality which you would expect at this price point - beware if you are sensitive to noise the house is in the town & quite near a lively bar with an outdoor area - it didn’t disturb us in any way as we enjoyed the social aspects, character of the area & convenience of the location

Cosy weekend away

Pros: Had an absolutely lovely time staying at the Buttress for a chilly January long weekend. The house was the perfect getaway and so cosy - we loved the colourful decor, the valley walks and eccentric cafes and shops right on our doorstep (everything couldn't have been closer!), and warm evenings next to the fire. Would 10/10 recommend and would love to come back.

Colourful and cozy

Pros: A comfy bed that looked out onto the Autumn trees.A reading 'nook'.colourful walls.the dolls' furniture! Radiators and fire provided speedy warmth. Onattention to details.coffee,wine and honesty bar.books.near the river.very close to all amenities.Easy communication with Ellie. Big info file for everything we would ever need.

Cons: Home and Garden magazine in the rack ! it's terrible 😂
