Stay House - Rural Retreat

Great place !

Pros: Downstairs was a great size for a large group. Bedrooms were large too. Kitchen had most things we needed . Beds were comfy. Nice location, rural and remote. Garden would be lovely in summer.

Cons: It was cold downstairs for the majority of the stay and took 24hours to heat through when we arrived . Would be better if log burners were useable , would have been warmer. Also would be good to put heating on to warm up before guests arrive.

Amazing house, small niggles but it is an older building this did not deflect from the lovely property

Pros: The size of the property is fantastic, it has great facilities and we made it work for our family. We appreciated the downstairs bedroom and toilet for my dad and he managed the stairs for the shower. We really appreciated the new oven being installed for our stay, we cannot thank you enough for that.

Cons: Beds are pretty lumpy some doors don’t shut properly, also the sink unit has come away from the wall in the downstairs loo.

Pros: Great space for larger groups, lots of rooms and seating areas for time together and time out.

Lovely big house, beautiful location with typical country roads

Pros: Beautiful house with lots of space. Clean bedding and towels. Lovely location for countryside walks.

Cons: The house in general was clean but needs a good thorough deep clean.

An ideal property that suited our family get away.

Pros: Large property suited our requirements perfectly for extended family.

Cons: Property was spoilt a little by need of a detailed clean for example having the cobwebs cleared.

Stunning, Spacious house in the country

Pros: Beautiful house with lots of space and in a Lovely setting.

Cons: Could have done with a deeper clean. Amenities in the kitchen needed re-washing before use and quite a few cobwebs here and there.

Pros: All the rooms are beautifully styled.comfortable beds. Lovely bathrooms.kitchen well equipped. Gorgeous location. Lovely property. Walks just outside the door. Great communication from the owners.

Cons: Very minor and more a suggestion .maybe more outside seating if the house is at full capacity and the same with the dining table. Could do with some board games if the weather is not good.

lovely relaxing stay

Pros: great property! it is very nicely done. you can tell a lot of money has been spent on it. very relaxing stay in lovely surroundings

Cons: We came with my grandma in her wheelchair and there is a downstairs toilet and sink but the shower is up a few stairs. there is no on-suite for the downstairs bedroom. not too much of a problem for my gran (as only there 3 nights) but might be for some. also a there is a step into their down stairs bedroom. perhaps missing some kids toys and would be nice if there was a swing of something outside.
