Pros: Lovely property clean and comfortable. Well placed for touring Yorkshire

Cons: Just the back of the property which was messy. However the back door couldn’t be opened to go out . To be fair I would think the owner would intend to tidy this area up and make it accessible. I believe it is an ongoing project. Certainly what he has done so far is excellent.

Pros: We had my 80 year old mum with us this time,so we needed a place with easy level access which plum cottage was ideal for It was clean and comfortable with most things you would need for a good stay.

Cons: We had my 80 year old mum with us with limited mobility, so we noticed Just a few things that would make the stay more comfortable The shower needs a shelf/caddy to put your soap, shower gel etc and there was no toilet roll holder We had to move sofa so that we could all watch the TV comfortably I think that all property owners should spend a couple of days in their holiday homes to see what is needed

Pros: Great place to stay with friendly and helpful owners. We had everything we needed.

Cons: Could do with slightly better lighting in the main bedroom, not a bad criticism, but as we were working and up early, it was still very dark for putting my makeup on... maybe a light up mirror would make it easier for us ladies!

Plum Cottage

Pros: The location was great. Knaresborough town centre not far away. The TV has YouTube on it as well as catch-up tv services, hob works well for simple meals. Bed was comfortable as well. Wall art is beautiful and really evokes a sense of peace and gives space to quiet fully reflect. Parking space for my car was excellent. The wi fi speed is ultrafast, works well for watching tv especially.

Cons: Hair trap for the shower could have been unblocked as the shower tray filled with water. Water in the basin took a while to go down, possibly a little blockage in the pipe. No big deal as everything else was perfecto. 👌

Pros: Spacious rooms.... very warm... plenty of hot water...excellent shower.....comfy beds... Helpful host. Well maintained property. Quiet area. Not too far to drive into town. Parking on site.

Pros: I stayed at plum cottage for a long weekend and loved every minute of my stay. The host Graham was lovely and very helpful. The cottage itself was spotless and cosy. We accident left some items behind and Graham went above and beyond to get those back to us. Will 100% be staying again
