The cosiest of cottages
Pros: I love this cosy cottage, it certainly lives up to its name. Excellent facilities, I didn't need to pack as much and the beds are so comfortable. The accommodation is in the perfect location, walking distance for exploring Knaresborough. Great communication with the owner. I would definitely recommend.

Great accommodation, value for money and location. We will stay there again.
Pros: The whole house is beautifully decorated and furbished to a lovely standard. The bedrooms and lounge are spacious and comfortable. All the bedrooms were different and quirky with changes in floor levels and one with low beams. We didn't cook whilst there but the kitchen looked well equipped. Great location but in the dark and with heavy traffic we missed the entrance to the car park at the rear of the property, however once in, the allocated space was easy to park in and rear access was up three easy steps (The first is a little hard to see in the dark so be careful.). There is a great real ale pub a short walk down the hill that serves pub food if you are not inclined to cook.
Cons: The bathroom is small (standing room was pretty much the arc of the door swing) and the sink plug got stuck on the second day. The kitchen is similarly petite with the door from the hallway opening into the standing space. Not sure how this could have been configured differently. Whilst the size of the bathroom and kitchen area was not a problem for me or my guests it may well present difficulties for people of large stature or for those with mobility issues.

Cosy weekend in Knaresborough
Pros: Location was within easy walking distance of the town centre and all Knaresborough attractions. On street parking was easy to find when needed. The bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable and the cottage was kitted out with almost everything you might need for a weekend break.
Cons: The velux window in the upstairs bedroom needs a blind. We didn't find any airer or similar to dry towels or coats. Accepting that this is a cottage, the kitchen and lounge area was cosy for 5 adults.

Really lovely cottage
Pros: Cottage is lovely, nicely decorated and clean, and in the centre so it's very convenient. They have a parking permit you can use in the house in the folder. Parking in Knaresbourough car parks is very difficult if you are going in more than one car. (There is space for one car at property). Even the long stay York car park says once you get there that you can not stay over night, so would recommend parking in residential streets nearby or using the permit to park at residential areas. Dog friendly and there is a little patch outside the door that is gated so you can let the dog out to the loo without any drama. A lovely stay and a really pretty house. Thank you :)
Cons: It is right on a busy roundabout if you are wanting a quiet night, but obviously that comes with staying in a city centre. We got the key code right on the button at 4pm, which is fine but does worry you if you are travelling to be there.

Wonderful place to stay in beautiful Knaresborough.
Pros: We loved everything about our stay here. The location is perfect - close to the HighStreet and Market square - close the Riverside and lots of nice walking areas. The cottage was cozy and clean - lots of room for everyone with its clever design of rooms upstairs and downstairs. The beds are comfy and well provided with duvets, soft blankets, and nice pillows. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and cutlery so we could enjoy our meals at home. The wifi /televisions in every room are a nice touch and work very well. We enjoyed our time at the Nidd Cottage and will definitely be back one day. Thank you (Vancouver, Canada)
Cons: No comment - everything was great.
