Pros: The cottage was beautifully decorated and well set up for self-catering. It was comfortable and clean, and the courtyard had an abundance of flowers. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

Cons: The bathroom was challenging as it was so small. The shower was very good though.

Lovely relaxing holiday

Pros: The cottage was ideally situated for the centre of town . The garden was lovely and peaceful to sit and read a book and also have friends round for lunch and a chat. It was cosy on an evening to sit and read or watch TV. It was very relaxing .

Cons: The only thing was there was no independent heater as in the evening if it had been raining a little heater could have been good to sit in front of it.

A lovely base for a spring break and a property I could recommend.

Pros: The cottage was comfy, cosy and easy to heat (in a rather chilly March). The owners were very close should anything go wrong but they weren't intrusive. It was very central in Knaresborough but quiet and secluded. It was also well-lit when returning at night in the dark.

Cons: The only improvement would be if the kitchen area was slightly larger but the space had been thoughtfully utilised and the full cooker was a bonus.
