perfect stay amazing food and picturesque yorkshire location

Pros: Great night's stay at the Cross Inn. location perfect for me. The ice was dangerous in the morning, but the locals were amazing and helped by salting all of the pavement and helping me out of the frozen car park. Great staff, very freindly and the food alone would be worth another visit. I would highly recommend the ribs. Great atmosphere in the pub and had a roaring fire, which was great on the cold evening I stayed

Cons: The TV in the room was tiny and had a terrible signal, so take another form of evening entertainment.

Cons: Bedroom was close to the kitchen and you could hear noise from the kitchen, including people speaking, very clearly.

Pros: This is a such a gem of a place, the pub is super cozy and Thai food served is amazing - the lady who cooks it was a wonderful host! The rooms are decorated with art by the owner and full of unique and special furniture. It exceeded our expectations given the reasonable price! We loved it :)

A fantastic place to stay

Pros: A very warm welcome from the staff, felt like family. My son and I had arrived shortly before 10 pm from edale on foot, and Linda offered us hot food even though the kitchen had stopped serving at 8:30pm. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are a good size with a spacious bathroom. A very enjoyable relaxing short stay. We are already planning to return with my wife and younger son by car next time, lol.

A fun and quirky New Year's Eve stay.

Pros: It was very quirky and comfortable. Our room was clean and comfortable. The passageway, stairs and carpets were very tired and in places in need of a deep clean. The bar and food, both excellent. Breakfast good.

Cons: The stairs and first floor passageway is carpeted, thus has become very marked. A good paint, clean and new flooring is required.
