Lovely bungalow in quiet area

Pros: Great quiet location with private parking area. All household facilities available to make your stay comfortable, stayed for 5 nights, as a couple. Great facilities and appliances in the kitchen, comortable furniture, large TV, comfy bed. No issues with hot water, heating or internet. Clear recycling facilities inside with wheelie bins conveniently located inside. Would definetly stay again when visiting the area.

Cons: House just needs freshen up, perhaps painting inside, outside gutters cleaned etc

Pros: A wonderful place! This was our second stay here. Even though it was a business trip, coming back after work felt just like returning to our own home. The house is extremely comfortable, and the neighbourhood is quiet and safe, allowing us to fully relax. Our disabled daughter (who has learning disabilities) usually feels uneasy in strange places, but here she was overjoyed and happy to be back. Even in winter (we stayed in January), the garden looked beautiful and inviting. Despite being in a residential area with neighbours nearby, it feels very private and peaceful. We will definitely return and recommend this place to anyone seeking comfort and tranquility

Gem in a dire town

Pros: Stylish interior, quiet location, not overlooked, good amenities, large tv

Cons: Wider area, Nelson is dire. Middle bed noisy creaks, windows need replacing, place is starting to look tired.

Lovely cottage home

Pros: Place was comfortable. Could just park up and get a Uber in minutes. Was really well situated

Comfortable

Pros: The living room is super comfortable with a massive tv & great couches. The kitchen is excellent for cooking. Salt & pepper would have been helpful. The double bed is uncomfortable as it’s one of those lift up beds where they slope to the outside, so one of us moved to another room to sleep. The bathroom is very spacious however the shower controls and handheld part are falling apart so a bit of maintenance would be good.

Good and enjoyable - thank you - but with a few small touches could have been lovely.

Pros: Comfortable, convenient, nice space and nicely equipped, good location.

Cons: More attention to detail re cleaning, the main stuff had been done but some had been missed eg crumbs on kitchen counter, cutlery drawer required good wipe over, floor in living room needed brushing. Metal bed in one room was rickety and noisy.

Great price and had great time

Pros: Great tv, great parking, quiet location, good size kitchen

Cons: Small things - plumbing needs looked at - when shower is on or toilet flushed the noise from pipes in kitchen is loud and the kitchen tap starts leaking, back garden needs some tlc and a pizza cutter would be handy

We had the most relaxing time at Kelswick lodge it was a shame to come home. Loved it

Pros: Very clean with good fasciitis, loved the front room with an amazing tv, as I’m disabled it was great that the lodge is all on one level with private parking right upto the front door also an added bonus

Cons: The only thing for me was the bed in the main bedroom was very low to the ground but we moved into another room with single beds that were a lot higher and extremely comfortable

Would come again 👌

Pros: Spotlessly clean. Parking space. All necessary facilities

Cons: Sadly I’m disabled so couldn’t manage to get in bath as there weren’t any handles to grip on to
