Pros: Good central location well appointed internally. And good sleeping arrangements.

Cons: This central heating was fiddly

The cottage represents good value for money and contains everything needed for a comfy short stay.

Pros: The cottage is located in the heart of the town centre moments from the high street in a courtyard shared with the Crown inn and several other holiday cottages. On street parking is available in close proximity although I suspect it would be more difficult to find a space in the summer months. This was our second stay at the cottage and it provides everything needed for a very comfortable short break and we would not hesitate to return again with our dog. We enjoyed our evening meals in the Crown and the Sportsmans Arms, Wath.

Cons: The paving stones in the communal courtyard are cracked and uneven so you need to watch where you are treading. A minor gripe - building contractors were undertaking works to the adjacent pub for the duration of our stay and their 2 vans were parked outside the front door of the cottage during working hours but we appreciate this is beyond the control of the owner and at least they were not making any noise.

Cosy cottage stay in Pately

Pros: Perfect location in the centre of Pately, very clean, well equipped cottage

Cons: Nothing not to like

Pros: Location and cottage it's self.clean and with everything needed for the weekend stay

Pros: Superb location in the middle of the town. Next to a quiet pub and 1 minute from a superb butcher. Really easy access to some great walks and a variety of cycle rides without need to get in the car.

Cons: The window in the bedroom with bunkbed couldn't be opened and it was extremely hot making it really difficult to get a good night sleep. It doesn't have designated car parking but not a major issue as there is a free one around the corner which we managed to find space in whilst there.

Nice comfy cottage in a very nice part of the world.

Pros: Good little cottage with everything we needed, and right in the heart of the village. Pateley Bridge is really nice.

Cons: No TV signal/ariel, but the WiFi was fine so could watch some things on demand. Very thin blinds and no curtains so I would recommend an eye mask!

Enjoyable

Pros: Spacious and clean. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and reclining sofas !

Cons: The blinds in the bedrooms were a bit flimsy and didn't keep the light out well, so the kids were up super early!

Pros: Location was good Property clean and plenty of room for 4 adults

Central relaxed stay.

Pros: Central property, near all facilities, well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds with linen and towels. We’d definitely stay again.

Cons: As previous reviewers have said it does overlook pub outdoor seating area, although it didn’t matter for us as was quiet after 11. Only addition is a hairdryer.
