Ideal base for local walks

Pros: We had a brilliant short stay in Ravensworth. The accommodation was ideal, with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, and spacious bedroom. We appreciated the tea, coffee and sweet treats on arrival. Located in the heart of the village, Thimble Cottage is an ideal base for local walks. The village pub is only a short distance away and offers a fabulous choice of tasty dishes.

charming cottage

Pros: a lovely charming cozy cottage, with everything needed for a relaxing 3 day break with our 2 🐕 🐕 even a pub/restaurant literally across the road serving excellent home made food, the fish & chips were delicious 😋 a nice uphill stroll to the Shoulder of Mutton pub, about a mile and half or a gentle walk along the bridle path, where it was safe to let the dogs off the lead, to Mainsgill Farm shop where there's Emu, Ostrich, donkeys and even Camels to chat to! 😁

Cons: nothing at all to complain about.

great cozy pad for a nice little break

Pros: great spot, location was fantastic for dog walks, so cozy inside and a lovely little get away

Cosy Cottage

Pros: Lovely cosy cottage. Rachael was very easy to contact and came right back. Location was perfect for us. We enjoyed exploring the dales.

Absolutely fantastic, and I would recommend everybody. Rachael is an amazing host.

Pros: The property is beautiful. Set in a lovely village with wonderful scenery and walks. The host Rachael is absolutely fantastic, answering all my queries before our visit and ensuring that our stay was superb. We will definitely be returning :-)

Beautiful, cosy, perfect cottage.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful cottage with everything you need and extra. Wonderfully clean bright and extremely cosy.All facilities are attension to detail with an extra touch of welcoming warmth. Thimble cottages private garden is well maintained and secure for children and dogs relaxing atmosphere with patio area and summer house.

Simply perfect, gorgeous property

Pros: Everything, perfect, quaint and the welcome hamper is a classy touch. Park right outside, beautiful village, would live there given half the chance 😍
