Luxurious 4 bedroom Cottage in the Yorkshire Dales

Had a lovely stay!

Pros: Beds lovely, loved the modern luxury features. Fire was beautiful and hot. Very clean and homely. Loved the tvs in the bedrooms. Bluetooth mirrors in bathrooms. Cuddly water bottles for the children. Host was helpful and understanding. Will hopefully stay again in the future.

Cons: Parking was difficult had to park on main road and was very bad weather so wasn’t easy getting to and from the car with little ones.

Pros: The location was excellent. It was a very short walk to the local pub The Punch Bowl where we had a lovely meal and there were lots of nice places a short drive away like Reeth. Caroline was very helpful and approachable, and the house had absolutely everything you may need. The house is very comfortable, clean and warm. The wood burner was very welcome on our stay as the temperatures outside dropped dramatically. We were warm and cosy indoors in this lovely house.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like.

Great accomodation.

Pros: A deceivingly spacious accomodation, in a great location, walking distance to a really good pub! Kitchen had everything and more that you needed in it, bathrooms and bedrooms all excellent. Loved the social space downstairs with it all being open, log burner was an absolute blessing at the end of a cold day! Beautiful hikes from the doorstep or within a short drive.

Cons: Appreciate the host is doing everything they can to accommodate parking in a tight area, it didn't become an issue for us and we had 4 cars. However, it was difficult to work out where to park when arriving in the dark. Some sort of map highlighting the areas that are available for parking would be really helpful in the future!

Pros: Well appointed cottage with everything you need for a short break away in the Dales. This was the third time we have stayed there and each time we have had a great time.

Cons: Nothing to report.

We had an extremely enjoyable two night stay in this lovely cottage with its beautiful location.

Pros: The cottage was in a lovely location with amazing views. It was extremely comfortable with plenty of facilities for all the family and just a short walk to a great pub with excellent food.

Cons: The parking was a slight problem as it was on a first come first serve basis and you definitly needed a car to get to the local villages. However, this would not stop us making a return visit to this lovely little cottage.

Absolutely amazing cottage with so many amenities and dog friendly

Pros: We’ve just returned from a weekend at the cottage. It’s outstanding. Absolutely beautiful and everything you could possibly need. So clean and well equipped. 7 of us stayed with plenty of room for us all and were able to take our little 15 yr old dog with us. Beautiful views and a great meal at the punch bowl inn at recomendation of the hosts.

Cons: Nothing not to like

Lovely cottage, parking was an issue for us

Pros: The property was presented to a high standard, we found it very comfortable and well equipped. The countryside and views are beautiful - very relaxing Caroline was responsive to messages Clear instructions regarding directions, access to property and house rules

Cons: Parking information is misleading. When you book it states free parking, but 2 days prior to arrival, direction and access information states room for only 2 cars on a 1st come basis. Parking has to be on the road away from the property if these 2 spaces are taken. For some people that won't be an issue, but for a 4 bedroomed property which can accommodate up to 8 people who may be travelling separately, this was not adequate. Booking.com info should be amended to reflect the reality so that different booking decisions can be made. Downstairs toilet was out of action - Caroline did inform us prior to arrival. Unsure what the reference to the number of dogs was - there weren't 4 dogs

Low Row Cottage

Pros: The cottage didn’t look much from the outside, but inside was fantastic. Whoever refurbished this place has done very well, very good use of space, ideal for families with 2 doubles & 2 twins. We were in the area for a wedding, so didn’t do any sightseeing & only used the kitchen for breakfast.

Cons: Parking was hit & miss, luckily we managed to park at the end of the terrace.

Perfect in every way!

Pros: The location was perfect for us. The cottage was so lovely inside and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were immaculately clean. The cottage is just a short walk from The Punch Bowl Inn and we were delighted to find a mobile fish and chip van stopped outside the pub on Friday evenings.

Cons: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

We had a great time.

Pros: Fantastic property in a fantastic location, very comfortable and well equipped.

Cons: It just needed a re decoration .
