Pros: Great communication form Ginny before our stay and even messaged to let us know it was ready if we wanted to get there earlier. The cottage is lovely, everything we needed for a long weekend and handy for the town centre. It is well maintained and obviously cared for. And the car appreciated the garage on the icy and snowy February nights! Look forward to staying again.

A real home from home cottage

Pros: Beautiful home with everything you could need. Beds very comfortable

Cons: Found parking in the garage too difficult as car quite wide but had no trouble finding space on the green down the hill

A brilliant place to stay.

Pros: The house was beautifully furnished and clean. Everything was comfortable. Great location just off the market square. Ginny the host made sure everything was set up ready for us.

Cons: Everything was great. The only thing I would change is to have a smaller sofa so there is a bit more room for the dining table when there are four people staying. However it was nice and cosy.

Pros: Beautiful and tastefully decorated property with everything needed for a home from stay. Great location. Communication with hosts excellent with the lovely touch of a welcome card wishing my partner enjoyable birthday celebrations.

Pros: The location. The cottage is perfect. Great communication with the owner. Simple instructions regarding entering the property. Very comfortable and very clean. Welcome pack was appreciated. A comfortable and relaxing stay in Richmond

Pros: The location so near to the centre of town was accessed via a short steep hill which appears shorter the more times it is climbed. Even though the weather was cold and bright the cottage was snug and warm

Cons: A street plan would have helped initial navigation around the town.

3rd Visit to Halfehill Cottage

Pros: The location is so close to the town centre and the river and park. The decor is gorgeous and makes the cottage so cosy and comfy. Off-street parking is great, and the utility room is ideal to clean your dogs after a walk.

Cons: There is nothing we did not like.
