Bridgedown House

Lovely,spacious house, great location, well stocked with all amenities and facilities for a fantastic stay.

Pros: Great location with the river accessible through the gate at the back of the garden.The Station Hub area was just across a car park where we could enjoy food in the restaurant or the beer garden outside. There was a small cinema here, an art gallery and a few artisan shops.The house catered well for dogs as well as people, so it smelt a bit “doggy”.All the rooms were large and airy and there was a bathroom for each bedroom.We were left a welcome pack of food essentials which was a nice touch. Parking was just outside the house for two cars so very convenient. We were lucky enough to have good weather to take advantage of the south facing garden, all be it a touch over grown with wild flower vegetation. Neighbours nice and friendly too!

Cons: It does smell of dogs if you’re not used to the smell. It could be a lot cleaner, especially the patio furniture which we had to wipe down.There was a problem with the showers and baths not been used at the same time due to water pressure. The cutlery draw took some finding!

Pros: Great spacious house, well equipped with everything we needed for our weekend. Comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. Very close to The Station which now houses a cinema, cafe and a selection of shops. Ample parking for 2 cars. We went in October and the house was pleasantly warm. Short walk into the Market Square with it's choice of shops, restaurants and public houses.

Cons: Nothing to complain about.

very relaxing and comfortable holiday home

Pros: we loved the location, it was great to have the river just behind the property and you can access it by going thru the gate at back fence. my family and I enjoyed going for walks and my children enjoyed skipping rocks in the river. The house is big and very comfortable and I loved the kitchen. would recommend and would love to stay here again.

Cons: The only thing I didn’t like was the check in and check out times- check in was 5pm and check out 9am! I think this is crazy, such a waste of holiday time, it is not cheap to stay and you are wasting a whole day.

An excellent Easter weekend in an excellent home, in an excellent location.

Pros: The Location was ideal for our family requirements

Cons: The electric shower in rear corner room, cannot be regulated, either scalding hot or cold.

Wonderful place to stay

Pros: Very clean with excellent facilities and a very handy welcome pack. Every thing provided that you would need for a comfortable stay. 10 min walk into the wonderful town of Richmond, and the old Station community hub 50yards away.

Cons: Electric shower in one of the double rooms not easy to use, and a brain surgeon might struggle to get the TV working.
