Cosy 2-Bed Cottage in a World Heritage Village

A very cosy cottage in a World Heritage site

Pros: The cottage is a traditional terrace created by Titus Salt in Saltaire and is part of the World Heritage site, yet it was modern clean and comfy. I particularly liked the large well designed shower. The kitchen was well organised and well equipped. The owners had been very thoughtful in providing all essentials as well as tea and coffee. An added bonus was the coffee machine. The beds were very comfy. The cottage is small being a 2 up 2 down but thought had been given to the layout so it felt very comfy for the 3 Adults staying. I enjoyed being immersed in the history and strolling in the parks and along the canal. A lovely weekend

Great location for exploring Saltaire.

Pros: Facilities very good with thought and comfy bed. Good location. Host excellent communications.

Cons: Couldn’t work television and struggled with fire initially and property is small but manageable for a couple of nights.

Cosy!

Pros: Lovely location in Saltaire, and a nice cosy house with good kitchen and comfy bed. I was worried the parking would be an issue but the street was pretty quiet.

Cons: A small grumble but the TV is too high on the wall - cricked necks all round! A very minor issue TBH.

Fab stay for 2 +dog

Pros: Exceptionally clean, very well equipped, fab shower and dog friendly Comfortable beds, good bed linen Great location

Cons: Tv too high above the fire for comfortable watching , property probably too small for 4 people

Perfect location

Pros: Wonderful location 5 mins walk from station at most and right next to canal , park and Salts Mill. Cottage well appointed with everything you need lovely conversion while retaining historic features. Spotlessly clean.

Cons: Size was fine for 2 singles but the 2nd bedroom is very tight for a couple .

Hidden Gem of a Property

Pros: Booked for 2 nights as a base to attend a wedding nearby. While we didn't see much of Saltaire during our stay, what we did see was lovely. The house is in a fantastic spot, close enough to the main shopping and food areas but far enough away for peace and quiet. Very well equipped throughout and enjoyed a very comfortable stay.

Pros: The location was excellent. Roberts Park and canal walks within 5 minutes plus The Boathouse pub. The cottage was well equipped. Superb easy to use coffee machine, comfy beds, great shower room and cosy living room and enclosed garden. We loved the attention to detail in the pictures and industrial light fittings. As a holiday home owner myself I always read guest reviews. I can confirm there is no issue with either front or back door lock and I had logged onto the WiFi within 20 seconds.

Pros: Quiet. Great location. Well thought out accommodation

Cons: Both front and back door handles were difficult to use.

Great little cottage

Pros: Sweet little cottage. Amazingly stocked kitchen which took the stress out of the arrival. Easy access, great shower. .

Cons: Not a huge amount of storage but perfect for a couple of days

Clean. Central. Comfortable. Great value for money.

Pros: A beautiful house with lots of charm. Beds were extremely comfortable with great quality bedding.

Cons: Stairs were a little steep for my 85 year old mum but that’s the way these beautiful houses are. She managed fine for the two nights.
