Wend Gardens Studio Carleton Skipton Pet Friendly

Pros: Lovely and warm, flowers in the room, great guide to everything. Very clean. Lovely outdoor area.

Pros: Perfectly gorgeous little studio spotless and decorated to high standards. Everything you would need for cooking and relaxing. Nice tv. Great area for our dog and lovely private patio out back.

Pros: A beautifully clean, well-decorated little home from home that we were sad to leave. Very nice touches (eggs, milk, bread etc and flowers) from the hosts, including a welcome letter which also showed that they genuinely offer a pet-friendly place to stay (yard at back totally enclosed and private + use of larger enclosure close to house). We all felt very settled here and the sound of water from the nearby stream was calming. Modern heating/air con, TV incl. Sky & Netflix, wifi. A short drive into Skipton centre. I originally thought it might not be convenient to walk into town but there is in fact a footpath all the way, and it took about 35 minutes to walk and is also a nice running route.

Cons: Just be aware that the lane (particularly turning in and out) is quite tight but still ok for SUV.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful location, although we were very unlucky with the extremely wet weather.

Pros: Compact and cosy. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, finished to a high standard. The pillows were great and the furnishings were lovely. The welcome pack was great and very useful. Parking space was good.

Cons: The bed mattress was much higher in the centre of the bed, resulting in almost rolling out of the bed during one night. As I suffer from spinal arthritis it was particularly difficult to get a comfortable night sleep. Walked to the local pub on both Monday & Tuesday evenings, looking forward to a hearty pub meal, but each occasion the pub was shut. Not the property’s fault but a forward notice would have been welcomed, if possible, as having a pub within walking distance was one of the reasons we booked this property as advertised. We can’t comment on the ‘staff’ as we didn’t meet the owners at all during our stay.

A lovely, relaxing stay in a comfortable studio, we’d happily return.

Pros: The studio was spotless, very comfortable and well equipped. With a great location for walks and exploring the area. Being pet-friendly was a real bonus.

Cons: Nothing significant, everything met our expectations.

Christmas Stay

Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Pros: Clean. Furnished to a high standard. Comfy bed and sofa. Lovely little covered patio and our yorkie adored having his own little field to run about in. Fabulous communication from the owners and the welcome pack was appreciated. Ideal stay for a lovely Christmas market weekend.

Pros: Super cosy, clean and comfortable ! Had absolutely everything you could possibly need, host has thought of all the finer detail. The property was beautifully decorated and all furnishings perfect for a comfortable, relaxing stay! Thank you !
