Lovely lodge, very clean and welcoming beautiful quiet setting

Pros: Beautiful location, great Hot tub. Owners left us some lovely welcoming gifts which was a nice touch. There is a pub on the park next to us which is within walking distance which was very nice. Lodge was a little small for 6 adults but that is stated in the listings. It was lovely and warm throughout even though it was very cold outside..thank you

Cons: Lighting outside and inside the lodge , particularly the bedrooms were not very bright. Children’s bedroom too small for adults and not very comfortable. Not enough storage.

Perfect place to escape to!

Great weekend

Pros: The lodge was in a beautiful location, it had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was great for relaxing. The lodge was very clean and cosy and the owners left a bottle of prosecco, chocolate and a card which was a lovely touch

Cons: The fridge was very small and we had to leave lot of the food outside in carrier bags. The decking around the lodge was very slippy.

Pros: It was just overall lovely place to stay. Peaceful cosy and well kept. They owners communicate was fantastic and fast to reply to messages. The room were comfortable. The wifi worked really well (taking a child this can be essential). The hot tub was wonderful and ready for a soon as we got there. I cant fault this place and would love to return.

Enjoyed being able to relax and chill

Pros: Very clean and tidy and very welcoming. Warm and lovely and cosy The garden and setting excellent

Cons: The road to the property not good. Had to change a tyre as like a dirt track and needs pot holes filling in. The hot tub was great put could have done been a little warmer was like set at 35 pressed to 40 but kept going back to 35 think 45/50 would have been better. Don’t want it too hot but little warmer would have been lovely. The property itself very good

relaxing peaceful and great location

Pros: was very “roomy” and spacious, modern fixtures and fittings was out of the way the layout has been designed well

Cons: the heating system was good when on, but seemed to work for certain time periods only

Pros: The lodge is quiet and having the hot tub included is a bargain
