A perfect cottage from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales

Pros: Property was in an excellent location and looked as good as the photographs supplied on website, The cottage was light and airy and a delight to stay in!

Cons: A few minor things, no visitors book, there was only a brief A4 folder of basic information but this needs updating due to the number of crossings out. It would have been useful to know what can be recycled and where for example. A pint of milk or similar would have been welcomed on arrival. The baking trays in the oven needed cleaning before use.

Pros: Location was excellent. My wife passed away 5 weeks ago and needed to get away somewhere quiet and good for bus service to other locations and couldn't have been better. Lovely sat at side of river and canal 6 o'clock in morning having a coffee. Fish and chip shop was excellent value for money.

Cons: Only 2 pubs in village and all fully booked for meals. Other than that nothing else.
