Oulton House - Beautiful Restored 2 Bedroom Property in Spofforth

The pictures on the site do not show the true beauty of the house an amazing place to stay so clean and well kept

Pros: Beautiful property well kept and everything you need would love to come back in summer to be able to sit outside

Cons: Having to leave

Just not long enough

Pros: Beautifully renovated cottage . Lovely kitchen and bathroom. Host sent several helpful emails with tips about the local area .

Cons: Would have been nice to have had some cushions for the garden furniture. Couldn’t find any . Otherwise everything excellent.

Relaxing with a wonderful location . The village itself is also so welcoming

Pros: Beautifully restored property which has been done to the highest standards

Cons: There was nothing not to like

Suited our needs : visiting family and attending a wedding plus visiting Harlow Carr, Bolton Abbey, Saltaire and York.

Pros: Location, size, garden, parking plus pub, bistro, shop and deli extremely close.

Couldn't have asked for more!

Pros: What a beautiful home! You can tell it's someone's home too as it has everything you could possibly need! Gorgeous kitchen, comfort beds and a cosy lounge.

Cons: Parking was on the main road if more than one car (space in the back for one vehicle) but the road wasn't too busy so not really a problem.

Excellent

Pros: Beautiful appointed accommodation, excellent facilities. Great location

Beautiful!

Pros: A wonderful property, steeped in history and lovingly restored with beautiful touches. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Beautiful cosy house with parking and eating out options great

Pros: Beautiful house and absolutely a home from home. Often we find rentals either poorly kitted out or with cheap substitutes like cheap beds/sofas which means when you are travelling with children so spend time at the house you often aren’t comfortable or don’t sleep well but this house really isn’t one of those. The kitchen has everything you need to eat at home but equally you have options on the door step to order in. Amble space throughout the house and just so cosy.

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like

Memorable, amazing, heartwarming

Pros: Oulton house is magnificent in every way. The cleanliness, the decor and the stunning art make this house the most comfortable beautiful home to stay in. Oulton house has a relaxing calming ambience that made my stay very memorable. I was born in Spofforth so to be back in the village was wonderful beyond words. I was made to feel so welcome by the owners and will make it my mission to come back to Oulton house.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike.

Fabulous few days in lovely house to allow us to explore Yorkshire

Pros: Fabulous house , in a delightful village with beautiful pub and bistro 2 minutes walk away . House cosy warm comfortable and beautifully furnished.
