Perfect in every way !

Pros: Stunning property, everything you could possibly want for a relaxing break. Warm and comfortable accommodation, with lots of little touches to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Tea, coffee, sugar milk and filter coffee which was a lovely surprise. Shampoo, shower gel provided. They also provided Netflix and Prime so spoilt for choice at night. Fabulous communication with owner of property. Loved everything about it !

Great stay

Pros: Very peaceful, tidy and clean, hosts left the normal tea, coffee but also milk which was a nice touch. Lovely all round set up.

Cons: This is nothing much, and would not stop us staying again but for us we were in a van so could not park in the allocated space by The Smithy..

Lovely stay!

Pros: Had everything we needed, including all the little extra things, like condiments, tea bags and coffee, towels etc!

Cons: Parking was a but tricky for 2 cars.

Weekend away

Pros: Lovely quiet location. A gem of a place . The accommodation was good. The owners have a book explaining the history of the place.There are photos showing how much work it took to create what they have done. Plompton Rocks on the doorstep is a great place to explore. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is great, really peaceful but you're close to busier places if needed.

Pros: We went for the peaceful location and weren't disappointed. We have been before and will go again.

Great find not far from York

Pros: Lovely cosy cottage, with comfortable bed and lovely sofa to recline on in the evening. Nicely decorated for Christmas. Having a guaranteed parking space when you returned after a day out was a bonus and can even accommodate a VW transporter with careful maneuvering. 😊

A lovely property in a lovely location. A great couples getaway.

Pros: The location was great, nice and secluded but only a short drive to both Harrogate and Knaresborough. The Smithy was fully equipped with everything you need and more. A great property we will be visiting again.

Cons: Only slight comment I can think of is the shower temperature goes up and down and ideally would be more powerful.
